Appears to be unobtainable. I own 12 cues, and the achievement did not pop. I've reached out to Iceflake Studios on Twitter, but I haven't received a response yet.
The achievement tracker bar fails to make any progress on this.

I've only brought one so far but I tracker update, hope I haven't just put an incompletable game on my new account I will be super annoyed.

FIXED - I had to buy another cue even though I had more than required. I did not get a patch to download but it unlocked once I bought another cue. Guess ninja update...

I've got 15 cues now and still no achievement. So it certainly isn't fixed properly.

Fixed for me too. I bought another 10 cues and it unlocked.

Not 100% but it might have something to do with potting 1000 balls everyone whos got it unlocked that first and the one person who couldn't get it to hasn't or another progression milestone in game.

21 cues for me.
Unlocked first cue I bought after potting 1,000 balls.
Would be best not to focus on this achievement until after the 1,ooo balls potted achievement, in my opinion.

Yep unlocked at 18 for me too. The beauty of it is you can buildup your money through tournaments, about 20,000 did it for me, and then buy them all until it unlocks, then dashboard in which you will keep your money....but then I had to press B to save it didn't I? Dickhead.
