How to unlock the Adrift achievement in Prey - Definitive Guide

Adrift Achievement/Trophy Guide

After you complete the Deep Storage part of the story and get shot out into space you will get a communication as you reach the Cargo Area asking for help from a man named Dr. Igwe. You will need to go inside the Cargo Area and interact with the Computer to call his container back so input the code 2312 and you will save him.

Note: This is timed and you only have 6 minutes to do it from the moment he contacts you.

Thumbs up. The timer had me panicked in my first playthrough.

Also good to note you don't need to take your time, the game won't force you to leave the hull breached Cargo Bay after saving him, you'll still be able to look around, before heading inside.

I just did this twice without it popping, then I realised I wasn't looking at the number on the container so was skipping a step. Once I viewed it and completed everything again, it popped.

After you complete the Deep Storage part of the main quest, you will be trapped out in space without a way in. As you near the Cargo Bay area, you will get a distress call from a Dr. Igwe, who is trapped in a cargo container jettisoned into space. You will have six minutes to rescue him. Don't open the container, or Igwe will die! Take note of the number printed on the side of the container (2312). Head into the exposed Cargo Bay and access the computer, and type in the container number. It will auto-pilot itself back into a slot in the station, freeing him and allowing you to enter the Cargo Bay. This will unlock the achievement.
