How to unlock the Three-Body Problem achievement in Prey - Definitive Guide

You must obtain a gloo charge in one of three ways.

1. Find one randomly while looting
2. Find the schematic for it, and craft it at a crafting station.
3. After finding the schematic for it, purchase one with sim points before starting a run.

I would also recommend having a typhon lure. It can be obtained via the same three ways as the gloo charge.

The gloo charge is like a grenade that expels gloo instead of shrapnel. It can be tricky to find three enemies close enough that a single grenade can hit all three, but I found the easiest to be the mind-controlled humans, since there will always be 3 or 4, and they'll always be close enough together.

Look for a telepath and his group of mind-controlled humans during your adventures. They'll spawn randomly, but I've seen him in the Crew Annex in the fitness center, and in the Pytheas labs in the quarantine room, so those are good places to check. If he's not there, wait for corruption level to go up and check again, since new enemies spawn with new corruption level.

Once you find him, sneak up close undetected and throw your typhon lure close enough to the enemies that they'll hear it but far enough away from you that they wont see you. Wait for the mind-controlled humans to gather round it and throw your gloo grenade at them and hope you get all three.

If you miss or dont get all three, quit the game and restart via dashboard (dont save and exit). The game autosaves when you enter an area, so you can try again as many times as you like.

Most critical information that none of these solutions mentions, simply reverse engineer any item to get the blueprint for it. Play with Engineer class, press "Y" on an item and if you do not have a blueprint for it, you will see an option to reverse engineer it. You can reverse engineer 1 blueprint from an item per playthrough. If like me you had every other blueprint in the game but this GLOO Charge, simply reverse engineer one when you find it so you can always start with one if you want. This chievo was a major pain and took me many attempts. GLOO Charges are super common......until you decide to go for this and then they never appear lol

This achievement is missable.

New to Mooncrash, GLOO charges are a new grenade type that will expel vast amounts of GLOO upon explosion, immobilizing any enemies that are covered in it. These charges can be looted around the Moonbase (though they are typically rare) or, if you're lucky, can be created at a Fabricator or purchased at the Loadout Menu if you are able to find its randomly-generated fabrication plan somewhere in the Moonbase.

Once you have a GLOO charge equip (as well as a Typhon Lure), you'll want to find a group of humans that are being mind-controlled by a Telepath (Telepaths usually control groups of 3 to 5 humans, which is perfect for this achievement). Mind-controlled humans can usually be found in the Typhon Containment room inside Pytheas Labs or in the cafeteria of Crew Annex. Once found, throw your Typhon Lure while remaining undetected to get the humans to group up. Now toss the GLOO charge at them. It should cover all of the enemies when it explodes, thus unlocking the achievement.

If, for whatever reason, the GLOO charge does not cover at least three enemies or you miss completely, quickly press the home button on your controller and manually quit the game (do not save and exit). The game autosaves every time you enter a new section of the Moonbase, which means you can boot the game back up and try this again as many times as needed.
