Alright, so there are a total of 6 chapters in the second Starbender Series and while the simulation moves other objects around when it resets, fortunately the chapters of Starbender are always in the same places [thanks to OneBad15 for reminding me of some of the locations and providing the chapter titles].
Chapter 1 "Rebirthed from The Starwomb"
Can be found on the floor in the small room that you begin the DLC. Before starting the simulation, it's on the right side of the chair when facing the screens. If you missed it, you are pulled out of the simulation at various intervals to receive messages from Basilisk and it's still there on the floor. For some reason there is also another copy in the Pytheas Labs back near the Mimic Portal, but you don't need to go find it if you've read it already.

Chapter 2 "Bringing a Fist to a Scythe Fight"
Can be found on the fourth floor Administration Level of Crew Annex in the corridor outside Alex Yu's office on a table between two chairs. If you're going toward the Shuttle, when you reach the top of the stairs that has the Typhon Scanner with the path to the Shuttle on your right, the offices you're looking for are on your left. Alex's office is right next to the one you go to to start the Engineer's story mission.
Chapter 3 "The Door Through the Tunnel's Keyhole"
Can be found in a toilet in a Locker Room/Restroom in the path running under the Crater's surface from the Command Center to Pytheas Labs. If you go down to the bottom of the Command Center where Power Control is, the path you're looking for is to the right of the Power Control Door.
In some instances of the simulation, this corridor may be blocked so that you must use the Mimic ability to pass through the opening. If you don't have that ability, you can enter the Labs on the Crater's surface and, just past the Typhon Scanner, look to the left to find a semi-hidden path (use your map, if necessary, if you reach the button to enter the Labs you've gone past it) that leads to an elevator going down and this will lead you back to the Locker Room/Restroom mentioned above.
Chapter 4 "Bone Hoops of the Dark Abbey"
Can be found in MoonWorks in Joan Winslow's office on Mid-Level, a.k.a. the second floor.
Chapter 5 "Hotter Than Dragonfire"
Can be found in Crew Annex in Habitation Modules 41-48 on the first floor Residential Level. It will be at the back of the room on the right laying on a desk. You may need to search nearby corpses for a key to this room.
Chapter 6 "Journey's End"
Can be found in the Pytheas Labs back in Volunteer Containment. You need to access a nearby Security Station to unlock the cell doors (the terminal you're looking for is the light blue marker near the center of the screenshot below), the one containing the chapter is Cell 5 all the way in the back past the Typhon Scanner. It's under the bed in the center of the chamber. Incidentally, this chamber is reminiscent of Chell's cell at the beginning of Portal.
The achievement will unlock as soon as you've read the sixth chapter.

I think it's not glitched, I thought I had the same problem but it unlocked when I realised there are two books on the containment cell

Chapter 4 is in Moonwork in the little bureau (don't remember the name) where you can enter by the ceiling !
Chapter 5 is in the Crew zone ! On the floor where there is the ship ! In front of the bar, there is door (next to the stairs) in the end of the coridor on a table !

In Mooncrash, there are six books in the second Starbender series that you must find and read in order to unlock this achievement. While most, if not all loot around the Moonbase resets upon each new playthrough, these collectibles are always in fixed locations.

- This book can be found in the same room that you begin Mooncrash, before even entering the simulation. It's on the ground right next to the chair that faces the terminal screens. If you miss it at the beginning, don't worry; you're pulled out of the simulation often and it will always remain on the floor

- This book can be found inside a toilet in the locker room of the underground maintenance tunnel that connects the Command Center to Pytheas Labs. This tunnel may be blocked from the Command Center. If this is true during your playthrough, you can take a gravity lift just past the Typhon Gate (the gravity lift is off to the left-hand side once you enter) that grants access to Pytheas Labs (but before entering Pytheas Labs itself)
- This book can be found in Joan Winslow's office in Moonworks (her office is on the second floor)
