I performed those combos the first time you battle the Concubine, Alchemist, and Hunter (in that order). I then performed the Normal combos on an Ahriman soldier. Use them on the soldier in the following video...

GLITCHED
For this trophy, you must perform all 63 standard combos in the game. They don't have to be on the same enemy and you can do them in any order you like but there are widespread issues with people reporting that they have performed all the combos required and it has not unlocked for them. In order to maximise your chances of unlocking this trophy, ensure you follow a few golden rules as set out below:
- Each hit must connect, If any part of the combo is blocked or deflected then you must re-do it.
- Any combo which results in an enemy death, even with the final blow of a combo, will not register.
- You must kill the enemy you have performed combos on for them to register to your total.
- This trophy will unlock after you defeat the enemy you performed your last required combo on, it will not suddenly pop mid-fight.
- Each combo must not be interrupted by scenery, that is to say that you enter into a mini-game because you were performing the combo too near a wall or the edge of a platform. This includes the final hit which may propel your enemy backwards and initiate the small cutscene of them almost falling.
Thanks to Xander45 for the tips.
Since there is no way of tracking the combos that are registered as being performed in-game, you will need to track them yourself. Below is a list of all of the combos so I recommend printing them out before attempting this trophy and tick them off as you go:
Normal Combo Set:
Elika Combo Set:
Lift Combo Set:
Acrobatic Combo Set:
Throw Combo Set:
Aerial Combo Set:
Now you're prepped and ready, don't waste your time on the general enemies. Instead, save the combos for the sub-bosses who can sustain a lot more damage, have large surface areas to perform combos on and in the early fights, hardly ever block or parry your attacks. Note that the Warrior boss can not be attacked by normal means of combat so you are looking to perform these on the Alchemist, the Hunter and the Concubine as these are the first fights in a series of six each that gradually get harder. You need to take advantage of the early encounters where enemy blocking and deflecting is almost non existent. In your very first boss battle, unload with as many combos as you can until the bosses health gauge is close to being depleted, pausing after every successful one to cross it off the list. Now you should let yourself get attacked and fail the QTE, this will restore some of the bosses health and allow you to get in some more combos. Gradually this effect will get weaker and replace less energy the more times it happens so when it is no longer worth doing, finish off the boss and remember that the killing blow, if it was part of a combo, will not count. Repeat this for your first encounter with the other 2 sub-bosses.
You should not have many left (if any) to do after 3 boss battles but if you have, perform the last few on your second encounter with any of the bosses to clean up and hopefully, if you've been careful to watch for what will not register and been methodical with crossing them off, your trophy should unlock.
If it does not, then what you should do next is continue on but in each boss fight you should concentrate on repeating the same set of combos from the list e.g. like Elika's attacks for example. Do just these and repeat them over and over, letting your mark regain health like in the early fights just to be triple sure before finishing them off and marking that little sub-group of combos off your list. When you encounter the next boss fight, do likewise but obviously with a different set of combos. There are six 'sets' as per the list above so hopefully at some point after the next six sub boss fights, your trophy should unlock (as mine did).
Should this step fail to unlock your trophy, you should forget about it for now as you will be running out of boss fights to perform the criteria for the 'Special Action' trophies and the bosses will be blocking much more now anyway. You should hopefully not be in this position but as a last resort, complete the rest of the game, ensuring you do the Patch 1.01 trick for the other trophies. Once that's all done, start up a brand new game and progress up to where you are outside of the temple with Elika. Head to the Sun Temple and defeat the Hunter and heal the fertile ground. Now head down to the generic enemy found in this area off to the right (you should remember where this is from your earlier playthrough) and allow time for it to fully spawn. Now perform each and every combo on this enemy. His health will degrade way faster than a boss but unlike bosses, when you fail a QTE with a generic enemy, their health replenishes in full every time. You may only be able to make 1, maybe 2 combos before you will need to stand still and get beaten up before you can resume your list. This method is tedious and with the relatively small platform you are on, some of the longer combos which also involve a throw will quite often trigger a QTE meaning it will not count and you will have to do it again. Upon landing the final blow of the last combo on the list, proceed to defeat the enemy and your trophy should pop.
Just for ease of use, below is a video of all combos being performed so you can see the animation sequences to double check you did it correctly. Credit to PringlesForAidan:
The final thing to mention is that people all over the internet have asked whether or not the 14 hit combo required for the Sword Master trophy is needed for Combo Specialist, I can confirm that it is not required because I have seen timestamps displaying this trophy earned before the 14 hit combo trophy.
The best of luck with this and please post here if you need any further help with it.
