How to unlock the Improviser achievement in Prince of Persia - Definitive Guide
If you push an enemy against a wall and the enemy breaks the wall after you win that button-mashing mini-game, that won't unlock the achievement. You need to DIRECTLY hurt the enemy so that he breaks the pillar.
You don't need to get this with this boss, but it was very easy so take this as a good tip.
Gonna try with the hunter.
EDIT: After trying the entire game on Xbox 360 Disc version. Xbox 360 Digital version. Xbox One FAT digital and physical version (they're the same), Xbox Series S version, and saving on each boss in order to try in different ways, and finding out there is one mini-game QTE with the concubine on one of her fights (or high chance to happen), and literally get all bosses to smash a pillar, I can now say that I can't find any way to fix this achievement.
Is really a pain in the a** to repeat everything, everytime on different ways and different order just to find yourself in a failure vortex. Is really unfair after so many tries, for any player, not just me.
Gonna keep trying but my faith is at minimum right now. I hope somebody can get the answer to this riddler of an achievement. It sucks.
During one of the fights with the Hunter you'll notice a pillar in the middle of the area. If you do a combo (a simple 3 hit combo) while the pillar is behind the Hunter you'll start a button mashing mini-game. If you win this you'll throw him into this pillar and you'll get the achievement.
There are several pillars like this throughout the game, they are found in the center of the room in most boss battles.
For this trophy you must attack an enemy near a pillar so that you knock them back into it, you will know the attack has been successful as a little cutscene will show them crashing into it as it crumbles around them. Timing and positioning are key here and it should be noted that for some reason, enemies tend to block sword attacks way more than they do Elika attacks. Helpfully this will also push enemies further back than sword attacks do so use the combo when you feel the positioning is good. Note that this will not be on a regular enemy, it will be either the Hunter, Alchemist or Concubine and in one of the later fights as the first ones are all on plain ground.
