How to unlock the Precious Time achievement in Prince of Persia - Definitive Guide

Just in case you don't know the spot or when to wait the attached video link will show. Right at the end just after elika heals the last land you will pick her up and gain control of the prince with the controller. Don't move for 1 min and the achievement should unlock.

Found this is be slightly more strict than I imagined. Unlocked on March 24, 2019 on Xbox One back compatible.

You game should autosave after defeating Ahriman, right as the cinematic shows the Prince being dropped on the floor. After the cinematic plays out and the Prince scoops Elika up in his arms you MUST NOT MOVE. If you even move an inch it will void the achievement and no amount of waiting will unlock it. However, you should be able to load that autosave from the main menu and try again. (helpful for those that have old controllers that might ghost move the Prince even though you're not touching the left stick)

Just to be clear the true 'final' healing is at the very very end of the game in the desert area at the temple. it is not one of the areas you heal on the map....as the video shows above you need to wait at the tree, in the temple, once you pick her up. this is not the first time you pick her up, which is what confused me, until i reached the end of the game.

After the final fight with Ahriman in the Tree Palace you'll end up with Elika in your arms. Stay still and do nothing for a complete minute. Don't even touch the controller...go on...put it down. Go make some popcorn or something because after this you'll enter the last part of the game.

This trophy is missable so in order to ensure you don't miss it, see the info below but be warned that if you do so before you finish the last boss fight then you will ruin the ending.

When you defeat Ahriman, Elika will sacrifice herself to keep him imprisoned during the cutscene which follows the battle. When action resumes you will be stood holding her in your arms on the final fertile ground. All you have to do is remain still, set the controller down and wait for the trophy to pop.
