Prison Architect: Edition

This is the solution that worked for me... Credit to HighT3chR3dn3ck for his guide which gave me information I needed to complete this achievement and also credit to FFX Brotherhood for the information he added within the comments section. (I am only adding this solution so that people don't have to search through the comments there)

Start each prison at COUNTY difficulty, only change this setting so that it doesn't become a custom game.

For some people it seems this is enough, just start the game and put it up to full speed and let the prison do it's own thing until the start of DAY 11! If you're one of the lucky ones do this with all 10 prisons and the achievement will pop.

If this doesn't work for you, or you want to play it on the safe side... When you start each prison (on County difficulty) play the prison for day 1, as suggested by FFX Brotherhood I did intake for some new prisoners, started and finished grants, added programs, changed the daily regime and edited the policies. I also hired members of staff and build a room that i filled with the appropriate items. Once you have done all of these speed it up to top speed and leave it to get to the start of DAY 11! This should pop your achievement it did for me.

Not a guide, but this unlocked for me after running a single prison in Prison Warden mode for 10 (in game) days. Both this and Visitation Achievement unlocked.

Update, now that the game is no longer in Game Preview.
Lap of Luxury is part of the A Day and A Night DLC and if you play that prison for 10 days the achievement will unlock.


Note, this was during the Game Preview and on the Lap of Luxury prison, this prison is part of the DLC but was given free to anyone who bought the game preview.

There are 3 standard level to this game, Supermax, Federal, and County. You can unlock all the difficulty related achievements on the easiest standard difficulty, which is County. You must not edit any of the settings otherwise it is a custom game.

I simply start with the first prison and put the difficulty on county (since there are not any failure conditions). Then I sped up the time and walked away. When I came back I had the visitation achievement after 10-days. I did this for 8 more prisons and it unlocked on my 9th.

Simply put, continue this method until both Prison Warden related achievements pop for you.
