This solution gives you the fastest way of unlocking this achievement. Go to League/Cup mode and create a new competition in Beginner difficulty/5 minute matches. Choose the African Cup of Nations as there are only 14 teams competing in a knock-out cup. I chose the Ivory Coast and received a bye into the quarter-finals. So you only need to win 3 matches to unlock this achievement.

Just to add picking Ivory Coast doesn't always give you a bye. But you can keep pressing X to randomise the teams when you first see the fixture tree to make sure which ever team you do choose gets a bye.

In this mode you will want to pick the smallest tournament available which will be the African Cup (14 teams), you will notice when you pick a team that the two at the top don’t have an opponent, you will want to become one of those. I suggest testing until you are a team with a bye, meaning you’ll only need to play three games to unlock the trophy, if not you’ll play four. Use the tips I left earlier in the guide (scoring and then holding the ball) and this extremely easy silver trophy will be unlocked.
