There is an easy-ish way to unlock this.
All you need to do is win your first game, or get enough points to sit above the promotion line on the ONLINE DIVISIONS page. This is indicated by the light blue box at the top. There will be a green dot to show your progress.
If you win your first game and find the GO TO NEXT SEASON box on the left, click it, accept, and you'll automatically be promoted, unlocking the achievement with minimal fuss. I did this about five minutes ago.
If it's any help, I used Real Madrid and ... ahem, spammed Ronaldo and Bale. Their pace is immense and can set up goals very easily.
If you take a little longer to get there - for example, a couple of draws etc. - once you are in the light blue box, click the GO TO NEXT SEASON box and you'll unlock it too.
A moderate achievement, but I recommend boosting. It's very hard to find someone online for this game now. I think I got lucky.

You just need to win 1 match in online divisions, then you can click "skip season" and you will get it automatically (only 3 points are needed to be promoted to the 11th division).
