Unfortunately this is more difficult than it sounds as a large number of players online quit when they fall behind or realise they will not win.

This is an Online trophy and is pretty simple to get. You need to win one game, this trophy took me seven games as I was continually matched with much better players who chose Liverpool. This trophy relies on you picking whoever you feel comfortable with and will only unlock in the finished game menu and not when an opponent quits.
When you successfully win, you will be awarded three points which is enough to be promoted to the next division. Due to the fact of people rage quitting on me, I ended the first season with 12 points even though I only won once. The amount of games required for you to win can vary, all I can say is persevere until you face someone you can beat. See here for the boosting thread: LINK
