There are some Saturday events yet. And usually that day you have the possibility to borrow a black ball.
Make 2 teams of white balls for Farm in the simulation Matches.
Make a team 3, use the players that are won, use them until the contract ends and then sell them.
When you have a team of black balls, use the cards to train your players.
Auctions are also easier to win bids to build the ideal team.

There's just over one month until this becomes unattainable.
A few observations:
- It looks like you don't need to have a manager with a high enough score to permit the total costs.
- There are four loanee players in the team above and this is a really easy way to get the team score up.
- The average player rating is over 85, but a player like Ronaldo will add a lot to the team strength.
- You can obtain coins by playing SIM matches, matches V COM, online co-op and ranked matches.
- If you login every day you will pick up daily login bonuses.

Pre-order bonuses can greatly increase the strength of your squad and definitely having a black ball featured players and as I mentioned earlier I was only able to succeed in getting one of those as the gold rated players I got were good but didn't increase strength that much. I decided to buy some myClub coins and eventually got some black balls (Buffon, Sterling, Naingollan and Fekir) and my team rating rose to 2,307 but I used the players I got in-between as trainers for the players I had which increased the level.
The way I suggested was my choice and if you want the trophy quickly you can make that choice too but it's truly up to you, as you also have the choice of training up your players so they can reach the required level.
