You gain affinity/experience by racing one of these cars in your career. For this I did the Porsche Cayman Cup in tier 4 obviously choosing the Porsche.I probably could have done the Ginetta in the tier 5 but I skipped that not even thinking about it. Finishing first in all of my races, I had enough affinity to do the manufacturer event.
*Some motorsports may not give you enough experience to do your manufacturer event. It might require another motorsport or repeating the same motorsport depending on how much you need.
Once you gain enough affinity, go to manufacturer drives in the career menu. If you have enough affinity, it will give you an option to do a race. If not, continue on your career until you do. For the Porsche, it was a sprint race. Complete that race and your achievement will unlock.
