How to unlock the Mr Popular achievement in Project CARS 2 - Definitive Guide

This is my first guide I have written for Trueachievements! For this achievement, you must complete 10 invitational events from the career mode; in the invitational events tab. You will unlock invitational events as you progress in the career mode and unlock other achievements. I do not believe you have to win the races, but I did just to make sure. I can confirm that you do not have to get gold for 10 invitational events. I got gold for 9 of the events and for my last one, I got silver and I still got the achievement. Feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

In addition to not needing all golds, not even podiums are needed, as long as you enter and finish in 10 different events it will still unlock.

I suggest winning, as this will get you 10 accolades towards the 50 you need for:

Heads up, DLC Invitationals don't appear to count towards this.

Won more than 17 invitationals, still no cheevo! What am I missing or I just need to start over the whole career? What should I do?

The DLC events definitely count towards this.

I had to get 11 before it poped. the last one I did where it poped was supercar porsche 911 gt3rs

Hasn't popped for me even though I've done everything else and I've popped the "complete all other achievements" achievement so the game knows I've done well over ten, probably over twenty.

I'm going to try a new career as mentioned above so fingers crossed!

Actually won 20 invitationals events (6/11, 1/9, 4/10, 5/7, 4/7) and still no pop, do i need to restart a career ?
EDIT : The answer for me is YES, started a new career and after 10 invitationals events he pop, a great waste of time...

Invitational Events will unlock through your career if you complete the requirements. The majority of them are unlocked by winning championships but others will require specific actions. There are 43 Events split into 5 categories, but you only need to complete 10 of them for the trophy. However they can help to get Gimme 50! faster as winning an Invitational Event will net you an accolade and it's much shorter than winning a whole championship.

Press to switch in Invitational Events and you will be able to see what to do to unlock them.
