How to unlock the Seen It All achievement in Project CARS 2 - Definitive Guide

Final solution now:
The license achievements are tied to online races.
To unlock the Veteran License you need about 350 completed online races.
When boosting this together with "Safety First" you're looking at roughly 15 hours of boosting, as 10 lap races take about 3.30 minutes with loading times and the 1 lap race approx. 1.45 minutes.
When trying to do this legitimately you're facing at least 100 hrs+.

Here are the most important settings when creating the lobby: (not mentioned is up to you)
Vehicle - Formula X
Track - Knockhill Tri-Oval
Race settings
Duration Type - Laps
Number of Laps - 10 for Safety First, when unlocked set it to 1
Start Type - Standing

Host settings
Privacy - Public
Realism settings
Damage Type - Full Damage
Force Cooldwon Lap - No
Opponent settings
Maximum Grid Size - 2
Fill with AI - No
Opponent Field Type - Same class
Rules and Regulations
Competitive Racing License - On -> very important, otherwise you wont make progress!

When you're boosting now first do 10 lap races until you unlocked the B safety rating for "Safety First", this should about 2 hrs if you start from U1500 (it will go up F, E, D, C and finally B, the number doesn't matter, it just means how fast you are compared to others)

When both of you unlocked Safety First switch the lap counter to 1 and go on racing until both of you unlocked Seen it All.

Side note: Both players should finish the race, otherwise the rating seems not to go up.

Credits: Credit goes to Boyd 12, AstroFlibble and NARIMANIK from the PST-forum, as they created and refined this method. Another credit goes to my fellow boosting partner Henry H8 who boosted this with me from zero to pop. :)

Getting to rank B takes roughly 2 hours with the settings mentioned above.

If boosting with partner, does it matter who wins? Like do you take in turns?

No it doesnt matter who wins. Its just completed races, not races won.

Yeah it looks like 2nd place gets a lot of the percentage towards safety rating. Also worth noting that the host is the only one who should tap “return to lobby” so you don’t have to keep re inviting your partner

For the completed races does anyone know if the 2nd player actually needs to complete the race? I have a second xbox and was wondering if I could solo it while the other profile just sits at the start line.

2nd place doesn't always get a lot of percentage. In fact, I rarely got more than 4%, some instances lost 10% in some races so for some reason ranking up seems completely random.

Currently boosting this now and it appears as though player 2 (the person coming 2nd) gets a much bigger safety percentage increase. Therefore keep alternating who wins.

@HolyHalfDead The winner gets 1% and the 2nd gets MUCH more % towards the safety rating. Dont know if you still get the rating if you just sit in the starting line with your main, and finish with a alt/second Xbox.

347 finish race + 3 unfinish race + 1 dq for achievement
So u don’t need cross finish line. boosting dq much faster. set manual start u can jump start then dq. match ends immediately.
This solution out dated

@The Wet Chef - after 100 wins with my main and my alt sitting on the start line, my alt is only at U37%.

The same way you get your Rookie License on your 1st race, you will unlock your magenta+cyan Veteran License on your 351st race.

"Damage Type - Full Damage" makes no difference, so you may as well set it to off.

@LaughinGuo - my race doesn't end immediately. After my alt gets disqualified I have to wait 25-30 for my main to time out (which does count as a completed race in my stats screen).

The solution is very good for providing the basic method to boost both of these two achievements, but for the B safety rating I found out that only the person who finishes in 2nd (in a two-person race that is) receives an actual boost towards the next tier. No matter what we tried in terms of overtaking or other tricks, the person wining the race received no progress or 1% towards the next tier, while the person in 2nd place always received at least 10%, even if they crashed heavily and lost a wheel for example.

I don't know why this is happening, but it could be due to the latest update that was supposed to "fix" a lot of the game's issues.

Good info, so thumbs up.

An SSD reduces those loading times. I'm double boxing it, and the one with the SSD has loaded in while the other is still at 29%.

However I recommend not working on Safety First at the same time. A single clean lap around Knockhill Tri-Oval will give you less than 1% progress from U to F.

Because the other player isn't moving the race ends as soon as you cross the finish line, so that saves another 12 seconds for the race to complete.

At the end of a race, only the host should press "Return to Lobby". The guest should not press "Return To Race Central". This will avoid a couple of wasted seconds waiting for the guest to get back into the lobby.

Save some more seconds by changing Host Settings -> Wait for Race Ready Input = Off.

I do not take credit for the following solution, as I've discovered it on YouTube. Credit goes to Dzwienkoswit but I thought I'd share this for anyone who wants to slowly grind the 350 online races on their own, without a boosting partner:

Create online event
In host settings set privacy to PRIVATE
In Opponent settings set the following:
Maximum Grid Size: 3
Maximum Human Opponents: 1
Fill with A.I. Opponents: On
Opponent Skill Level & Opponent Aggression: 0 (not necessary but keeps A.I. out of the way)
Track Select: Texas Motor Speedway (the 1.49 miles one)
Vehicle Select: Up to you (I picked Formula A)
In Race settings set the following:
Duration type: Laps
Number of Laps: 1
Formation Lap: No
And finally in Session Settings set Practice to On (Duration doesn't matter)

With the above settings you can now press start and in the next menu you'll see that you have the option to start the race on your own BUT here comes the tricky part in which you need to act fast:

Press RB once so the middle box on the left displays "Practice"
Press Start (you'll get a 5 second countdown)
Quickly go to the "middle box" and press A to access it, turn practice to OFF and press save.

Complete the race and return to lobby. The practice setting will still be set to OFF, so in order to be given the option to start the race, you need to turn it on and save. Now repeat the process of pressing start, quickly hopping in the middle box to turn practice OFF and press save.

It's not as complicated as it sounds and it takes about roughly 2 minutes per race, so you're looking at close to 12 hours of grinding using this method to get the 350 online races done.

I hope this helps anyone who's struggling to find a boosting partner. Let me know if something is unclear about this solution and I'll try and help you.

Huge thanks for this solution and K1LL3R’s comment. Was trying to figure out how to double-box the B safety rating effectively but it was not going very well.

Great solution for doing it without a boost partner. Thanks for sharing.

And also thank you K1LL3R for pointing out that this works with B safety rating as well.

Trying this but no achievement with 52 races completed....Did you enable the "Competitive Racing License" option?
EDIT: It works, got the cheevo today. The "minimum license" requirement needs to be enabled.

I think this might be patched. Whenever I change the practise to off, the timer disappears and I'm forced to add a player to continue

Still works like a charm. TYVM!

No longer a rookie – popped at 55 races
Definitely not a rookie – popped at 105 races
I’m a Pro – popped at 205 races
Seen it all – popped at 305 races

Does this help with the safety rating achievement at all?

[EDIT}: yes it does! Setting up a 5-lap race on Daytona with Formula X cars and setting the AI to 70 so you can follow them, you can knock out the B safety rating by yourself.

(Online)

To unlock these licenses you will simply need to finish online races, no matter your final position.

You'll just need 1 race for the Rookie license, 50 for the Amateur license, 100 for the Pro-Am license, 200 for the Pro license and 350 races for the Veteran license.

You can boost this with a boosting partner in public races by setting the lobby to just 2 players. If you're lucky you can also boost this by yourself, but it will take considerably more time. First, you'll need someone to enter your lobby and then you need to press Ready. If your opponent leaves before the start during practice you'll be able to drive alone and it will still count as a completed race.

When creating the lobby, select these settings:

  • Vehicle: Formula X (fastest car)
  • Track: Knockhill Tri-Oval (shortest track)
  • Race settings Duration Type: Laps
  • Number of Laps: 1
  • Start Type: Standing

in Realism settings:

  • Damage Type: Full Damage

in Rules and Regulations:

  • Competitive Racing License: On (if Off you won't earn any license)

To save some time you should aim to unlock the Safety First trophy before this one, as the 10-lap races for that trophy will also count towards your tally for this trophy.

To win the trophy you must start!!! in 350 online races

Moreover, the license rating must be turned on, but by default when creating a session it is turned off, so almost all online lobbies are not suitable

The shortest track in the game is the Knockhill Tri-Oval (Scotland) . It takes about 15-20 seconds, even loading takes longer.
One friend is enough for a boost.
But first, get the Safety First trophy, and then put 1 lap on the track and get licenses.

Novice license is the first race

Amateur -50 races
Semi-professional -100 races
Professional -200 races
Veteran -350 races
These licenses are issued only for multiplayer
The shortest track in the game is Knockhill Tri-Oval (Scotland) and it takes about 17-23 seconds to complete, even loading takes longer.
Quick boost is a boost with a friend (companion)
