This isn't a guide as such just some advice, on the main menu go across to the driver network click that and a list of events will come up, they are all date associated, if your not careful the event will expire and you will miss the opportunity to take part in them so it will take a lot longer to get. I might be wrong on this achievement though
This is not a guide. This is a PSA
I figured this is the best place to let people know as this will be the first place people check for this achievement.
As of now (22/08/2017) there have been 25 new events added. You need 20 for the achievement and this will be the last lot of events they put out so get on it ASAP
Again this is more of a PSA rather than a guide
[Edit]
There is no way to track it so you just have to go through and on each event press cn_X to find you. If you have a time on the board then you have completed that one. Just count up how many you have done
Happy hunting!

Does it say how long these events will stay?

As of May 4th, 2018, community events are active again. As of this date, the event is at 50/78 and the Cologne Games Week 2018 is the current one so it looks like they are the same events like last year, just updated from 2017 to 2018 and I believe they will update at the same time they use to (5 PM, PDT) Here's a list (I'm American so I apologize for the way we write out dates and apologize for the dates I'm writing when they become available. These are dates when they will be available for my time zone which is the Pacific time zone)
(Event #)(Date)(Event Name)
Event 50 - 4/29 - Cologne Games Week 2018
Event 51 - 5/6 - Formula A in Belgium 2018
Event 52 - 5/13 - Formula A in Italy 2018
Event 53 - 5/20 - Clio Cup Challenge 2018
Event 54 - 5/27 - The Green Hell 2018
Event 55 - 6/3 - American Prototype Power 2018
Event 56 - 6/10 - Radical Raceway 2018
Event 57 - 6/17 - Big In Japan 2018
Event 58 - 6/24 - Pagani Passion 2018
Event 59 - 7/1 - DTM Masters 2018
Event 60 - 7/8 - Group A Challenge 2018
Event 61 - 7/15 - New York Minute 2018
Event 62 - 7/22 - Palmer Sport Track Day 2018
Event 63 - 7/29 - Push the Button 2018
Event 64 - 8/5 - Brno Bimmer Hot Lap 2018
Event 65 - 8/12 - Dual in the Desert 2018
Event 66 - 8/19 - Formula Catalan 2018
Event 67 - 8/26 - Supercars of Silverstone 2018
Event 68 - 9/2 - The Emporer's Festive Bonanza 2018 (II)
Event 69 - 9/9 - New Year, New Racing (II)
Event 70 - 9/16 - Racing Resolution (II) (This is an event from the projectcarsgame.com/on-demand)
Event 71 - 9/23 - Winter Sun (II)
Event 72 - 9/30 - RUF and Ready (II)
Event 73 - 10/7 - Sonoma Showdown (II)
Event 74 - 10/14 - Big Trouble in Little China (II)
Event 75 - 10/21 - Highway to Hell (II)
Event 76 - 10/28 - Spring Cleaning (II)
Event 77 - 11/4 - American Le Mans (II)
Event 78 - 11/11 - The Final Parade Lap (II)
So that's 29 events that you have and need to post a time in 20 of these. If starting from 0, the latest you want to start these is July 1st. To be safe, I would start June 24 which is the week before. The reason I would start there is because of Event #70. I'm not sure if this is some sort of DLC race or not but if someone could comment and let me know, I will update the solution.

That's great news, thanks for the heads up. I missed the 20 events by a few and had given up hope of ever completing this.

Oo
UNOBTAINABLE This is an online achievement. Unfortunately, this achievement is controlled by the developer and is now unobtainable to anyone who hasn't unlocked it already. The developer has stated that there will be no more events.
Please be wary of this trophy before you start the game. As of writing this (15/5/2018), there are enough Driver Network Community events available to still earn this trophy. However, the developer can be slow in adding new events or may decide not to add any new events at all the in the future considering the game's age.
In the Main Menu is a section called Driver Network: Community Events. Here you will find Time Trial events that ranks participants on a leaderboard. These events are only available for a limited time, typically a week, before they expire and new events are cycled in. Given that between 1–3 events are available at any one time, this trophy will require you to routinely go back and complete new events until you have participated in 20 of them, something which is likely to take a minimum of 3 months.
While looking at the schedule of events it would appear that the amount of events available is limited, the developers have stated they plan on supporting the game for some time, and have been adding new events to the schedule with updates and DLC releases, so that 20 events will be available to complete for the foreseeable future.
What exactly constitutes ‘participating’ in one of these Community Events is not known for sure. It could simply mean driving a lap around the track, or it could mean having your time registered on the leaderboard. If the latter is true, this trophy could be troublesome because only the top 3000 times for each event are recorded. On top of that, the times often fail to register properly.
This trophy also appears to be glitched or bugged, as there are several reports of people having participated in more than 20 community events without the trophy unlocking.
The developers have suggested a workaround method to unlock this trophy:
Hi all,
we are aware that some players hadn't unlocked the Community Ambassador Trophy / Achievement even though they met the requirement "Participated in 20 Driver Network Community Events".
With the latest patch we included a workaround, to unlock it try the following:
Go to the Community Events section
Go to every event page you have taken part in
Check if you are on the leaderboard clicking the "Go to my time" icon
This will update the data in your profile and should unlock the Trophy / Achievement.
We apologize for this inconvenience. We know a lot of you care very much about collecting all Trophies / Achievements and are happy to finally be able to provide you with the unlock you deserved.
For discussion on this trophy and other possible methods to fix the glitch, please see the following thread: Community Ambassador Trophy
