How to unlock the Consistency Is King achievement in Project Cars - Definitive Guide

This Achievement is most easily reached by simulation.
Start a race on the shortest possible route (Glencairn West - 0,45 km // 0,28 miles). Take a kart, with only one opponent and with five laps.
Now bring you on 1st position and press cn_start choose "simulate Remaining session". You get the Achievement if the simulation is over.

Use the 250cc karts, I did it on the Glencairn West Reverse.

I also found that I had to watch the remainder of the simulation as for some reason when I skipped to the end of the session all of the times went out but none the less great solution :D

I think they patched this. I just did it three times in a row perfectly and the achievement won't unlock.

This solution still works, thanks a lot man, just say i had to watch the rest of the simulation to get it. I used the Glencairn West Reverse with 250cc Kart and works on the first try i watch the complete simulation. Thanks

Brilliant solution +1 from me! Before anyone posted guides for this achievement I was really pushing myself to get as consistent as possible in a race! I didn't know you can do it in simulation mode, it worked first time!

Easy 30G's for me, and a +! for Grobanite! We both win, great job! This is the best solution!

Hello,

If you are struggling to get this achievement or just want to get it out of the way then I personally found running a 250cc SuperKart in 1st gear (manual gears) around a short but wide cornered track helped. The track I chose was Donington Park National, I put 10laps so there was some room for error, This track has wide enough turns that allow you to hit them all flat-out in 1st gear in a 250cc kart, Obviously you don't have to pick the karts, (- what ever you are most comfortable in-).

Just a side note, if you don't know already how to change settings press RB from menu and go to - options and help - and choose - controls to change to manual gears, you may also want to go to gameplay and put damage + mechanical Failures off just in case you blow the engine.

Thanks and Good luck

I got this by doing the following,

Choose a race on any track (I used Silverstone) then set it so you have 1 opponent and about 10 laps.

Once the race starts, press the pause button and look for the option that says how many laps are left to do until simulation. Manually race the race, until you reach this, then press the start button and press simulate.

Let the AI take over, once the race is done, the achievement should then pop.

Quick Race Weekend
Car - 250cc Super Kart
Track - Glencairn West
Laps - 5
Opponents - 1

As soon as the race starts, hit pause and simulate remainder of the session. The AI will turn this seemingly annoying trophy into a freebie.

Load up a quick race on Glencairn West, 5 laps, Superkarts and one opponent. Ensure you gain the lead as soon as possible and then press start and pick simulate the remainder of the session, NOT skip! This achievement should unlock during or after the race. If it does not just retry.

This trophy can be very frustrating. Luckily, an easy method has been found which means you do not even need to do the racing yourself. Simply load up a Quick Race Weekend using the 250cc Superkart on Glencairn West, and set it for 10 laps against 1 opponent. Once the race begins, press and choose to Simulate Remainder of Session. From here you can sit back and watch the robotic consistency of the A.I. do all the heavy lifting for you. The trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.
