How to unlock the Zero To Hero achievement in Project Cars - Definitive Guide
Just a couple of notes:
-Difficulty doesn't matter
-You can skip as many races as you wish, as long as you win each championship
-This took me 8 seasons. If you accept the right contract offers it will take less seasons.
1) Start campaign.
2) Select tier 8 on the far left of the tier selection screen. This is a requirement.
3) Play through your first season.
4) At the end of your first season you should have some contract offers open up. When accepting a contract offer, try to accept the one that sounds like the biggest step up. Just note that sometimes all of your offers will be from the same series, so in that case it doesn't matter which one you accept.
5) After a few seasons, you should start to get contract offers from teams in the LMP series. Keep an eye out for the keyword LMP3 in your mail. After winning 1-2 LMP3 championships, you should get an LMP2 offer. And finally after winning 1-2 LMP2 championships you should get the LMP1 offer that you've been waiting for. Just win this championship and the achievement should be yours.
This is all based off of memory, so sorry about estimations. I'm sure a more accurate guide will pop up soon enough. (if even necessary)
If you leave negative feedback please note why.

I can confirm the following for the Zero to Hero achievement. First of all @XreignZ guide is spot on, I did get this historic goal but the achievement didn't pop so started another career.
1. Difficulty really doesn't matter - I did a speed run with Opponent Skill set to 0 and Session Length 1%.
2. You can skip as much as you want - I skipped every invitation race and also since I had enough points I opted to pit in on the last set of races and still bagged the championships and contract offers to progress to LMP1 within 7 seasons.
If you are interested in doing this fast I chose to simulate practice and qualifications on all races which put me generally last on the first race but 4th on the second in most cases. Since the AI was as low is it can get I steamed through and was in the lead before lap two. Also as session length was 1% it was at most three laps per race. You can get this in a day easy.
Hope this helps clarify some points.

I think this is the quickest way:
I needed 6 Seasons for the achievment and these
were my steps.
1. 125 carts
2. 250 carts
3. Formula Rookie
4. LMP3
5. LMP2
6. LMP1
After LMP3 I got an offer for 2 hour LMP1 endurance
and that might have got me straight to LMP1 but I think
LMP2-season is quicker that 2 hour endurance.
I won all races, skipped all invital events.
Good luck guys :)

They want to read a novel on how to do it,no quick guide....just ignore it.They can't do it better than you,so they have to let their frustrations out in this manner,i guess....

Great solution, but I wanted to note that I was able to do this in 5 seasons. For some reason after I completed Formula Rookie, there was no option for LMP3, but instead I could skip to LMP2. After that, I was able to go onto LMP1 to get this achievement.

hey guys ... i made a video guide explaining the best and most simple way of getting this :) hopefully it will clear up any questions you might have about this achievement :)
First thing to note is that you must start your career in "Kart One" (Tier 8). If you have started in any other discipline, you'll unfortunately have to start a new career otherwise this will not unlock.
As you progress through the career and finish each season, you will receive invitations in your Inbox to either join a new team or renew your contract for the following season. You should be aiming to progress at least 1 tier in each new season (sometimes you can progress more than 1 tier) in order to be able to join a team in the "LMP1" (Tier 1) discipline within ten seasons,
The disciplines are as follows:
Tier 8 - Kart One
Tier 7 - Superkart
Tier 6 - Formula Rookie / Touring (Renault Cup)
Tier 5 - Formula Gulf / GT5
Tier 4 - Formula C / GT4 / Prototype 1
Tier 3 - Formula B / GT3 / Prototype 2
Tier 2 - Formula A / Endurance / LMP2
Tier 1 - LMP1
Note that some disciplines have more than 1 championship associated with them, for example LMP1 has a European, and a World Championship. The European championship acts as a qualifying event for the World Championship, and it is the World Championship that you must win in order to unlock this trophy (and indeed the trophies for "consecutive championships").
To speed things up, you can retire from races where you already have enough points to win the championship, as well as skip events that you have already completed in a previous season - but I would double check this by navigating back to your Profile -> Career -> Accolades screen. The game should not let you skip any main career-based events that would mess up your progress toward this trophy, but I preferred to err on the side of caution. If you're enjoying the game, keep racing and you'll unlock the "Mailbox Full" trophy in the process (I think I unlocked this during Season 4).
Reducing the difficulty and session length will not affect this trophy, making it relatively simple even for gamers that are not into the genre. However, this will take a while whether you skip events or not, so strap yourself in for the long haul!

This achievement is missable as you must select Tier 8 at the very beginning and also win the World Championship (WC) within 10 seasons. If you have followed the walkthrough within the roadmap you will have no issues unlocking this achievement.
Missable! This trophy is missable for two reasons. Firstly, you Must begin your career in the very first Karting discipline, Kart One, to even be eligible for it. If you start your career in any other discipline, like Formula A for instance, the trophy will not unlock for you. Secondly, you will have to progress through to LMP1 within ten seasons, if it takes any longer you will not earn the trophy. Also bear in mind that if you have done either of these things, you will have to create a new career to earn the trophy.
With this in mind however, this trophy should not pose too much of a problem. At the end of every season you will receive offers from various teams and motorsports disciplines to come race with them. As long as you focus on progressing to a discipline that is in a higher tier than the one you are currently in, you should get this trophy within 6-8 seasons. Ideally, the offer you want to choose at the end of each season is the tier directly above yours. For example: you would want to move from Formula C to Formula B and so on, until you end up with the offer to progress into the LMP1 discipline. Once you make it to LMP1, it is just a matter of winning the World Championship. You can check your progress towards this trophy at any time in your "Driver Network Profile", under the "Career" tab.
