How to unlock the Ranger Savant achievement in Project Spark - Definitive Guide

Edit: I'm adding a second method for boosting XP. This is essentially the same post I have in the Level 50/45/40 guides. The first method is to level up characters. The second is a macro to help with forum thanks. (Potentially an extra 11,650 XP, around one level, if starting from scratch.)

1) Power leveling. This is freakish. I'm going to lay it out step-by-step in the spoiler box below.

I hope that made a lot more sense. Here's a video clip about what you should do starting at #5 on the list. Hope this clears things up.

The short version is that this isn't a guide to leveling yourself, but it WILL level you up a bit by leveling your characters. A LOT. Which is good since the servers are closing soon.

Yes, it really works.

You need to find a world called "FAST! Level all champions to MAX!". There are a few copies out there. The original is by Tr1ckstr360. The gist is that you use the brain in his world, go into Void Storm, replace a brain there with his brain, and then test the world. The XP will fly.

You should get these along the way:

Project SparkDruid SavantThe Druid Savant achievement in Project Spark worth 165 pointsReach Level 20 with Avalon.
Project SparkKnight SavantThe Knight Savant achievement in Project Spark worth 162 pointsReach Level 20 with Haakon.
Project SparkGoblin SavantThe Goblin Savant achievement in Project Spark worth 157 pointsReach Level 20 with Karlsnor.
Project SparkRanger SavantThe Ranger Savant achievement in Project Spark worth 155 pointsReach Level 20 with Scarlett.
and if it doesn't glitch,
Project SparkThe Squirrel SavantThe The Squirrel Savant achievement in Project Spark worth 156 pointsReach Level 20 with Conker.

(If Conker glitches, try playing with him in Crossroads.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2) Forum thanks
Either load up a second account, or find a boosting buddy. Download AutoHotKey (autohotkey.com). Right-click on Desktop => New => AutoHotKey Script
Replace what's in the file with what's in the spoiler box below:
^!r::
CoordMode, Mouse, Screen
SetMouseDelay 100
Loop
{
Loop 10
{
MouseClick
}
GetKeyState, state, Shift, "P"
if state = D
break
}
return
Save the file, then click it to run it.
Now, go to the ProjectSpark.com Community forums. Make a post somewhere. (If boosting, your friend should to the same. If you're using an alt, log the alt into the forum.)
Place your mouse over the Thank button on your post. Start the script by pressing Alt-CTRL-R. (Press SHIFT to end the script. Note: the script may take a bit to actually stop working if it runs for a while.)
The mouse will click 10x/second on the Thank button. Let it run for a while. If you have Project Spark open in a second window, you'll see yourself level up every so often.
Note: the script may cause issues with your browser because it clicks so fast. If so, change the line "SetMouseDelay 100" to a higher number. The number is in milliseconds.
Hope this helps! toast
Yea seems to maybe just be lagging because the goals for one of them that's stopping at 19 is saying 100% leveled up showing goal is totally complete. Hopefully it will fix itself for tomorrow.
Thanks for posting! We're you just browsing the Achievement Hunters feed like I was? Lol
One note, I just inserted a brain into a new object and placed several of them near the start of the level (instead of replacing an existing brain) and so far everything seems to be working normally (3 characters completed to Level 20, including on from Level 1).
You can copy it into any brain, really. Just make sure it's on the path so you can find it.
I can't find the world? I'm searching exactly what you put in your guide but still can't find your world? :/
Don't go past the log/Rock!! THAT is where you get the XP, not the blue Kode pieces. Stand next to the log. You should find a spot where your XP starts jumping.
But don't go past it! That's what you set up!
First, it's not my world, it was uploaded several months ago. But yes, search for FAST!... That's the world name, if it's still there.
We need more clarity on WHERE EXACTLY AND HOW FAR DOWN THE PATH we need to place the brains. Is it at the start? Half way through? Iv looked and tried but can not see much
Ok I have been at this for over 2 hours and can't get it to work. I have the log/tree in the path but no XP given. No blue code. No nothing. Which brain do I change? The orange one? The Green one? How far do I go to see something?
The one I changed was the one in the middle of the path.
I'm gonna try to make a damn video. I gotta learn anyway.
Ok I got all 6 characters to lvl 20 and all achievements for 4 characters. but two of them seph and conker I got no achievements for like lvl 10n lvl 20 and the progress seems to be stuck at 20% or so! So what now? Did the game glitch these characters level achievements?
The game is a little laggy with some achievements. If you're having issues, try using those characters in Crossroads a few times. I know that's what I had to do with Conker.
ok, for clarity. I followed the instructions by replacing the rightmost brain on the original path we came from, which means the fence mentioned in the guide was to my rear left. Then the log appeared just beyond that fence, NOT where I placed the brains. But standing at the base of the log worked AWESOMELY and super thumbs up for the solution!
When you start the level NORMALLY, look where you are in relation to the fence. Where you put the brain doesn't matter, as long as you're further down the level than where you start. It doesn't have to be at any particular part, just PAST where you start the level.
It doesn't matter where you put the brain. You just have to make sure that it's in the path you'll be traveling so that the brain is there when you test it. If you play through the level, you'll see that the start position isn't really the start of the edited level.
It doesn't even have to be on the path. I said put it on the path so it's an easy place for you to find. If you don't want to put it on the path, you don't have to.
This experience glitch works for both systems, Xbox one and Win 8.
You begin a crossroad whichever way you desire. Upon the character select choose from any of the characters. It may take afew attempts to get the glitch to work but if you keep trying it should work in the end (I personally struggled to get Scarlett to work). Talk to the NPC to trigger the invaders then dispatch of them. Talk to the NPC again to choose a boss lair (Corrupted Tower seemed to be the best since it provided a back wall). Position it as close to the home base as you can to save time and avoiding additional fighting. Talk to the NPC infront of the tower and choose whichever opponent and number you wish to fight. Now for the important part.
Once they are taken care of choose Defective Drone as the boss. Proceed to kill him and claim the item for retrieval. You'll know the glitch is successful if once you kill and claim the item his health bar remains depleted. Go back to the very first NPC to turn in the item but do not exit the level. Head back to the boss, once you see his health bar reappear stop. This is the distance you need to remember (its usually the beginning point of your exploration). He might already be back to full health if not just wait. Proceed to kill him again once the health is restored (he will not fight back). You'll be granted 600xp for each kill (please note there will not be xp particles) and you can just keep repeating this process for however much experience is needed.
The video provided is from xTMx Voytek who was kind of enough to record for me.
If you still need 5k coins you can do the waterskin trick by choosing the Sacred Tree as your initial landmark and picking it up near the water barrel. Choose the pawnshop to be the leftmost building (if you are looking straight at the boss). You can trade away and if you notice the bosses health disappear while in the interface this means that the boss is read to fight. Doing both the boss and money seemed to freeze my game more then none so if you don't mind risking it you can kill two birds with one stone. If the crossroad crashes you'll still be credited the do and the coins but the completion of the level will be lost.
Love it. Wasn't that hard to set up and heavily cut down on the grind of restarting the world and placing all the buildings and such.
Your one of the lucky few to get Scarlett to work! Seems to be random who is able to get her to work. No one has problems with any other characters which is definitely a plus but the few including myself will have to stick to the fallen ranger solution.
