How to unlock the Hit Maker achievement in Project Spark - Definitive Guide
October update:
First off im sorry for those of you who attempted to go for any of the achievements that have been basically destroyed and made too easy for everyone to obtain. Blood sweat and tears for some people trying to get these achievements.
The new achievements are Retroactive so you will unlock them if you have already completed the... new... achievement requirements.
For Hitmaker (used to be insane to obtain, you must now play 14 hours of community games. You can click on any community game with a menu (I chose swordman) and leave it running the entire time (or bursts of times). Even if your controller turns off it will still count, I know this because I didn't play 14 hours of community games nor have left it on 14 hours with me sitting there keeping my controller on. I did so happen to leave it running over night a few times.

Yea that is weird.... But the fact you got 2 hours isn't due to the controller turning off, it had to have been a different factor.

This and the other "Play x Minutes of Community Games" are still possible to unlock now that the Project Spark servers have closed. Here's how you do it:
Firstly - getting Project Spark running in the first place without the servers is a bit of a challenge. I actually recommend taking your Xbox One offline (via Network in Settings), then starting up Spark and going into the Play menu, then going back online again. This will skip a lot of the timeouts and crap you'd otherwise need to wait through to get the game to the menus.
Once that's done: any time you spend in Crossroads will count towards the time based Community achievements, but ONLY if you complete the quest and exit through the Exit Portal. If you quit out, it doesn't seem to count this time towards the community achievements, but does count it towards the Crossroads specific achievements.
