Edit (5th October 2015): following Title Update 16, the original method of unlocking this achievement became invalid, and an alternate method was introduced.

NEW METHOD (after 5th October 2015)

Note: this method is retroactive. If you had collected 25 coins in crossroads before the title update, this achievement will (or should...) unlock when you start the game for the first time after the patch.

To collect coins in Crossroads:
1. From the main menu select "Play" and then "Crossroads: play and change a game"
2. Choose any option (it doesn't matter which), until you have chosen your champion and have control of him/her. Begin your adventure by walking forwards to the highlighted character (the one with a yellow exclamation point - ! - above their head) and interact with them by pressing . After a couple of conversations, and you have chosen your enemy threat, you'll be returned control of your character. Defeat the 3 enemies presented to you, and collect their 3 coins before returning to the highlighted character again for more conversations. Once you have chosen a location for your enemy boss, you get to place it. After that, you get to draw a path from the enemy location back to your village (the orange arrow). Don't draw a direct line. Instead, throw in a curve or two to make the path longer. When you've finished the path it will get populated with coins and enemies. Simply travel the path collecting coins and killing enemies (most of whom drop coins when killed).

If you haven't reached 25 coins by the time you reach the boss location, after you interact with the character standing there, you get to pick an enemy. You can press the and buttons to choose to face up to 8 enemies each of whom will drop a coin. Most bosses also drop 5-10 coins too when they die.


ORIGINAL METHOD (no longer valid, but left here for posterity)

There are 20 squares on the Treasure Trove board, so it is possible to make 10 matches each week. Each attempt at a match costs 1 Golden Ticket. Regular users earn 1 a day, Premium users earn 3 a day. You can also purchase them for real money too. You will need to use between 10 and 20 Golden Tickets in a single week to make those 10 matches.

Premium users (earning 21 Golden Tickets a week) will be able to do this in three weeks.

Regular users (earning 7 Golden Tickets a week) will be able to do this in eight weeks. Save your Golden Tickets for the first two weeks, and make 10 matches at the end of the third week. Then, save your Golden Tickets for the next two weeks, and make 10 more matches at the end of the sixth week. Then, save your Golden Tickets for the next week, and make the final 5 matches during the eighth week.

When revealing squares, use a paper+pen to record which prizes are where as you work through the board.

For the purposes of Treasure Trove, the week begins on Monday at 10am Pacific (USA), and each day thereafter begins at 10am Pacific (USA). You can use this website to convert 10am Pacific (USA) to your time zone. (Use USA/California/Los Angeles as the "Convert From" time zone.)
