How to unlock the Rising Star achievement in Project Spark - Definitive Guide
This is one of the few download achievements that didn't get an easy alternative to it in the recent title update to fully free. So I would recommend joining a boosting session to grab it. I have created one which you should see to the right and added guidelines for making your own below.
The basics of it are
- 24 people all with 5 accounts. (120 downloads so some room there)
- Create or remix an instant win level
- Save the game as your gamertag (easy for others to find then)
- Download each person in the sessions level once with your main account
- Then again with each of your other accounts.
- log back in with your main account to the xbox and Win 8 versions to collect your achievements.
With instant win levels, it's mainly loading screens so you can watch TV while you do it or listen to some music. This should simplify getting this achievement and hopefully stop the servers filling up with 0% remixes by people hoping to get lucky with 100 downloads.
To make an instant win level, Create a new game from scratch, press them move down to edit, go to select a prop, place the prop pressing touching the player and then hold on the prop and edit the props brain with , you then need to delete any commands that are there and have only one line. When 'Player' 'Bump' do 'Game Over'. Press to go out of the brain editor. That should mean that as soon as the level loads, it ends. Nice and quick. Press and then Share it with whatever name you've agreed on for the boosting session. Shown in a video clip and screenshot below.

This achievement is fairly luck based considering there is no guarantee that people will download your world 100 times within 24 hours. The best thing to do is to try to make a world that is unique and that can help other people within the community out.
For instance, i made a world specifically designed to complete Conker's daily money challenges and i was able to get this achievement without even trying for it.
Some helpful tips are to give your world a unique/catchy title, create a compelling description, add relevant tags, and hope for the best.
Good luck!

Personally, I got my achievement in a boosting session organised on TA itself. However, I was remixing some worlds the other day, to gain some downloads and experience, thereby increasing my level. I went into community games, selected the filter "new and rising" and remixed about 5-7 worlds with the most downloads (ranging from 200 to 1100) I logged in 9 hours later to find out that 3 of these worlds had already reached over 100 downloads.
I did not change anything in the world itself. It took me less than 10 minutes to remix these worlds.
To test whether a remixed world would unlock the achievement, I tested this on my brothers account (he still needed the achievement). I remixed 2 worlds, 1 of which reached 100+ downloads after I logged back in 14 hours later, and the achievement popped for him.
It is also worth trying to remix the "champion farm" and the "250 weekly kills" worlds, as I got quite some downloads on remixes of these as well, however no world reached 100. People remixing the same world can obviously decrease each other's amount of downloads, as people playing project spark tend to play the newest world. (E.g. I got 100+ downloads in the first 10-20 hours, after that way less downloads, as other people (including myself on my brother's account, uploaded the same world).
The world that seems to do particularly well at the moment is called "A Mario World" ,though obviously this will change over time. Good luck trying to get this. I advise you to remix a world ASAP, as obviously more remixes are uploaded, each world will get fewer downloads.

I organized the session sh0wtim3 was in (yo dude!)... I personally tried this method for a few days before the session and noticed the same results and oh how I was hoping to get the Rising Star that easy way.
However, after seeing my worlds being deleted time after time, I looked into why that was the case on the Spark website and basically it came down to: if you don't contribute enough to changing the world(s) in a positive way [ex. edit nothing like sh0wtim3 suggests / by drawing a little grass on the ground / only renaming the world] you are in a position to be banned from the servers because you are plagiarising other people's worlds. You should all know that if try sh0wtim3's method.
With the servers closing soon, risking a ban might be worth it... however, I might suggest gathering small groups of 5-10 people together and making a handful of sessions, one for each player, where each player remixes a popular world(s) at a set time, and the rest boost the player 12-16 hours later (before it gets deleted). It's also worth noting that you seem to go on their "radar" when you have 80-90 downloads on your world so I would highly recommend boosting the last 30-40 downloads with a group ASAP and to delete your worlds as the RS pops so you can continue to stay under the radar.
Either way, good luck! I hope more people get the RS within the next 3 months! :D

This seems like a viable solution, I'm currently on 80/100 with 6 hours to go.

FYI if you are going to boost this, this is a direct quote from the developers; "If you don't want worlds removed, the worlds must have "Achievement" in the title."

Achievement has been discontinued due to the server shutdown. It's impossible to unlock this now. No one can download or share worlds.
To be 110% CLEAR, all you have to do, is PLAY the level (play = download in the PrSp world).
