October update:
First off im sorry for those of you who attempted to go for any of the achievements that have been basically destroyed and made too easy for everyone to obtain. Blood sweat and tears for some people trying to get these achievements.
The new achievements are Retroactive so you will unlock them if you have already completed the... new... achievement requirements.
To obtain this achievement now you can just defeat 10 goblins in Crossroads, if you choose goblins both times and put the boss base next to your town you will get this one quickly. Choosing 8 goblins will net you 11 in total.
