How to unlock the Where’s Gregg? achievement in Project Spark - Definitive Guide

This is for completing Big Reunion without losing all six chocolate health pieces and was glitched at the DLCs launch but is now FIXED.
Although now it does unlock, various people have been reporting that even when they die they still unlock this achievement but this does not happen for everyone. So feel free to play the DLC and you might unlock it even with dying, worse case you'll just have to play it again without dying.

It's really not that hard, assuming you go for the miscellaneous achievements first you should be a expert at the game and you'll be allowed to make mess-ups then.

Brewery - Nothing here can really kill you here, avoid the Tediz right at the start and just jump on the other end of the platform where the Tedi (is that the right singular for them?) is at the top during the carry crate/barrel segment. If you do take damage, a few chocolate pieces are scattered around.

Forest - Stealth segment isn't hard, plus chocolate in a few spots along the way to the end. During boss fight lure the chainsaw wielding Tedi to the outhouses, do a three hit combo on him and then lure him to another one, rinse and repeat. If you by accidently mash one too many attacks and do a fourth hit, he'll probably catch you with his chainsaw, no problem as three chocolate pieces are scattered around.

Gun range/laboratory - The first segment isn't that hard, assuming you got the achievement for not getting hit at all you should be bale to breeze right through with getting hit maybe once or twice, no problem as four chocolate pieces are scattered in the back before you go in the door to the boos area with the key.
The boss is probably the hardest part, his laser will hit you two damage and it comes out and fallows you very fast. His laser will brake the wooden crates if it stays on them too long but not destroy the stone blocks at all, so obviously hide behind the stone ones or if your trapped behind only crates alternate back and fourth every other second so the crates won't break. Run to the "context sensitive area" which is a giant B button, then run up and melee the boss in the nuts (literally) and then continue circling around clockwise when the lasers stop and get to the second and third button so you can hit him for a second and then third and final time.
A bunch of chocolate pieces are scattered around but I suggest saving those for after, chances are you'll get hit going for just one and lose two in the process.

Final phase you have to save the Clock & Plucker. Drink some beer and then pee on the two fuses in the front and then get the third all the way in the back. Then repeat a final time to save Birdy. You only get so much ammo, so try to land your pee streams on the target, refill at the context spot when empty. Walking in to Birdy while on fire will hurt you for one piece, I don't think it will for the fuses but if you fail the first or second part I believe you'll need to restart the WHOLE thing.
Not too big a deal considering how many times you had to restart for those misc. achievement I mentioned before. We appreciate the aggravation and length padding Team Dakota. smile
Achievement should unlock right after putting Birdy out.

Is it easy to be completed without dying?

It's not too bad once you figure out what to do. The hardest parts are the SMG mini-game (for the Sure Shot achievement) and the boss right afterward.

TD acknowledged the bug: "Confirming that there are issues with Where's Gregg, The Squirrel's Apprentice and The Squirrel Savant achievements. Team is working on it and fixes should be in our next Title Update."

Hopefully it won't really require a TU, based on ScuzzyBunny's experience with the level achievements.

A small update (21MB) was available this morning. Perhaps a fix? I'm not the one to test it since I haven't gotten the hang of CBR yet.

Supposedly Where's Gregg is fixed now, along with some other CBR issues. Here are the 1.01 Release Notes. I don't know what they're talking about with a Broke the Seal achievement though. It isn't showing on xbox.com.

Played it for the first time today, unlocked it on the first play through so it's not bugged any more.

I think it is glitched in a positive way, since I died and got the achievement

^ Lost all six pieces or hurt in Brewery/caught in stealth section and sent back to a checkpoint? Huge difference.

Nope, I died for the chainsaw boss at the first time.

I died here too. The gunners took me out twice and the giant nut boss like 3 times. Still popped. Yay!!!!

Sadly, not completely positively glitched. I died a few times on the Abomination. Then Birdy killed me since I didn't realize I was out of ammo.

Surely, there are somethings that count as dying and others not.

Died a lot too, but it did open to me after finishing the DLC...gladly, Conquer DLC is bugged, slow and with a horrible gameplay.

Sigh...I didn't die once through it, but failed at protecting the bar from exploding the first time - didn't get the achievement. Just providing the information to anyone else who is curious...

I got lucky with this too. Died on the shooting area once, and nowhere else. Still got the achievement smile

I missed one jump on the brewery and lost one heart. Otherwise I never died and did not get the achievement. Apparently you cannot miss a jump

Be careful when entering the door where you encounter the giant Tedi (after the shooting segment). I skipped the cutscene of Conker walking through the gate and as a result, got locked outside! Long story short, game was glitched so I had to start over...

Supposedly Where's Gregg will be fixed sometime today on the server side. From this post: "This small update is not in conjunction with the updates to Conker's Big Reunion. That update should roll out later today and will not require a download. It also should fix Where's Gregg when it rolls out."

Hmm, I wonder if the fixes are in the world itself. Maybe the controls will be a bit more useable, making the other achievements easier. That's my hope at least.

Hey guys, I made a video of the no death run, as well as doing the Broke the Seal achievement for perfecting the end. Check out the walkthrough for a more visual guide.

Enjoy
