How to unlock the Super Battleship Slayer Patch achievement in PROJECT SYLPHEED - Definitive Guide

This is done on level 12, and can be done on any difficulty (I did it on easy).

At the start of the mission just make a straight line to the S Battleship (you'll see the word "massive" beside the name of the ship). Ignore everything else, send your wingmen to break off, and just focus everything you've got on that S Battleship until it goes down.

Once it does another will appear, make sure you destroy that one before the mission is over and you'll have this achievement.

It should be worth noting that the second S Battleship becomes the new mission objective when it appears. Destroying it will end the mission instantly.

That's correct, so if you're grinding towards gigaton or 10K kills you might want to hold off on sinking the 2nd one until you've sunk the other ships.

Also, I found that the Grav Cannon XGS works wonders for taking those S Battleships down. Even though it's only got an ammo capacity of 6, it took me around 5 to kill one of them (so reload for the second)

It took me around 5:33 to knock out both of them, and that included running back to the Acropolis for ammo and fixing (I was playing on hard >_>)

I purchased the Maelstrom bomb just for this. It takes one bomb to take out the S Battleship on easy and you collateral everything around it. Two bombs, 1:35, one achievement.

To get this on mission 12 ignore most of the other warships or kill ones that are not marked as objectives and kill the Super Battleship first. If you do that another one jumps on kill that one and beat the mission and you have the achievement.
