This may not unlock, I didn't unlock a boss achievement until killing the tank which is fourth boss. It has been reported and I have had confirmation from the devs Crunching Koalas are looking in. Replaying the encounter and beating the boss again may work but havant tested that yet.
This is the hardest boss imo as your early game don't have a lot of upgrades, spells or weapons.
He has 3 stages but the same tactic worked for me on all of the.
Use charged shots from the lance it works surprising well here whilst keeping mid to long range weaving left and right or circling him works best.
By time he reaches his final stage you may be out of ammo for the lance so the shotgun or super shot gun if you found it works well to finally take him down.
