How to unlock the Payout Machine achievement in Project Wingman - Definitive Guide

This achievement is pretty straight forward. First I completed the game and I began grinding the Big Shot achievement with the mission Red Sea and this popped as I was trying. Cold War would be another good mission because of the abundance of enemy fighters.

Not sure if this tracks targets outside of main campaign. I grinded out the campaign on normal & then all aircraft's in conquest mode & this didn't unlock. Almost certain I killed more than 2k during that entire time.

So if you just want to grind the kills, possible focus on campaign missions only

I would personally not start Conquest until you have gone through Merc Mode Campaign. By then you will have plenty experience to tackle Conquest easy AND have unlocked this achievement.
