You can join an affiliation when you reach Rep level 10. The game will automatically ask you to join once you reach level 10. You have two choices to pick from: The Hearts and The Clubs. Join one, and achievement pops. If it doesnt pop, try getting to where you can switch affiliations (defeat other affiliation boss). Switching might help this achievement pop.

The Spades unlock at level 25 and The Diamonds unlock at level 50.

My achievement never unlocked when I joined an affiliation. Does anyone know any way to force it to unlock?

Gotta love when things don't work. Try getting to where you can switch affiliations. See what that does.

I was hoping that might do it. I'm at level 35 at the moment, so a while to go before I get the rank 2&3 ach and then can switch.

Supposedly you can switch over and switch back without losing current progress.

As said before all you have to do is reach level 10. If you want to do this quickly I suggest just doing head to head tournaments. Even if you lose you get bonus rep for coming second in a tournament and each hand won give you extra for winning head to head etc etc. Also you can do head to head tournaments with any amount of money and receive the same rep (XP).
