How to unlock the Arcade Action achievement in PROTOTYPE 2 - Definitive Guide
To karate kick a chopper, turn off your power, or stay in disguise mode. The to do the actual kicking: I find it hard to hit them sometimes. I have two solutions for this. Easiest one: Karate kick a grounded chopper. (I think that even the airbridge choppers will register as a hit) To karate kick a chopper in the air there is a few ways of doing it, the easiest is to stand on top of a builing and when a chopper flies by either just below you, on line with you or just above you, do a small controlled jump and glide towrds the chopper and press (and hold X). This tactic also works if you are gliding around the city. Get really close to the chopper and press X. (somehow i found it easier to hit them when i was just a little bit away and under them in the sky) But if you're having trouble, resort to my first suggestion. Kick grounded choppers :) This will also easily give you the time limited "Karate Kick 10 choppers before" etc.. prize achievment

Doing this on a grounded chopper makes it so easy. There is one at coordinates 286,982 if it helps. Thanks for the solution.

With no weapons equipped, charge a kick in the air when being locked on a helicopter. The achievement should pop straight away
This can be done anywhere and at any time as long as a helicopter is chasing you. Jump as high as possible and hold down while you are in the air. Make sure that you have your fists equipped and no other weapons! You can also kick the unmanned airbridge helicopters to unlock this trophy.
You will be able to get this achievement once Helicopters start attacking you which will be shortly after gaining your first power. In order to have a karate kick to hit the helicopter, target it with then jump up and hold and you should lock onto it.
Note: You must not have any power active to perform this and it will also make it also easier once you have movement upgrades.

For 1-2 hits are required.

if anyone doesn’t understand, then a “karate kick” is when planning (also in the absence of weapons or abilities) we wait

it's still simpler. It is enough to kick even a standing empty helicopter in a jump.
