How to unlock the Murder your Maker? achievement in PROTOTYPE 2 - Definitive Guide

This is the final mission of the game and it can be started at Red Zone island. Beware that Mercer is not a joke boss to go againts at and also beware NOT to use a same weapon as he uses that moment. Like example; if he uses blades then dont use blades againts him because he will counter you hard.

My best advices are these:
1. Use Whipfist everytime when he doesn’t use it.
2. Jump around and try parry alot.
3. Mercer’s Hammerfist attacks cannot be parryed or blocked so dodge around them.
4. Beware you CANNOT use any special abilities during this fight.

Unlocked after beating the final boss 3 times and finishing the QTE that comes afterward.

Indeed, a fairly easy trophy. You must try to constantly be in the air - the first 2 stages are a hammer hand attack from above, and in the 3rd stage a whip hand attack from the same place. The shield and other devices were not used.

In the first stage of the battle with Mercer, we use shields. We reflect his blows, and after stunning him with the shield, strike with the whip, holding . In the second stage, everything is the same, we stun with shields and attack with a whip. Must be the attack that requires stopping .

In the third stage, Mercer begins to constantly knead with hammer hands. Shields don't help. Despite this minus, the third stage will be the easiest. We dodge the attacks and again use the same attack with the whip.

At this rate, the battle will take 5-10 minutes at most.

1) we fight against his blade, everything is simple, the main thing is to find breaks between his combos, the rest of the time we keep the shield and wait, you just need to take your time to understand what kind of blows they use in their combo attacks and when there is a moment when he swings for a long time or stops here, then you need to deliver a series of blows 3/4 no more, otherwise you can get screwed
if Alex swings with a sweeping blow, you can pick up the moment and press the shield during his blow before the damage hits you; this will stop his attack and give you the opportunity to attack, after which everything will start again

2) We fight against the Whip, it’s a little easier here, the easiest way is to once bring the enemy into a series of your blows, the method is similar to step 1 and after that, as soon as you finish the combo, Alex will jump over you behind your back and begin to swing a wide blow horizontally, and at the moment of his swing, you should jump to him behind his back and perpendicular to his blow, that is, roughly speaking, look him in the eyes and jump behind his back exactly neck to neck, if you jump behind his back but slightly to the side you will still be hit and they will go further if you land behind his back then start hitting him and then everything will repeat again Alex He will try to jump over your back and do it again.
