Here's an easy way to defeat this boss. Put on your armor and equip your blade power. Then get right in his face and mash the hell out of A and Y. These two attacks in combo will stun him, then you ride him and blade attack with X until he throws you. As soon as he does, sprint away while he uses his tentacle devastator. When it is winding down, run back and get in his face again and do the blade combo the instant his devastator ends. You'll stun him again, ride, attack, repeat. Win!

I found this much more effective than any other strategy. You're welcome, and happy gaming.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This boss fight occurs during the second mission called "Defeat the Supreme Hunter" which is the last mission of the game. For in-depth information on how to fight this boss, see this post: One Thousand Suns - View Single Post
