How to unlock the Pt achievement in PROTOTYPE - Definitive Guide

There's over 50 of these events which will take a little while to do all of them. Below are videos that I made going over each event. Only the War, Kill, Glide and Movement events are required for this achievement.

Also in the description of these videos there are time stamps leading to each event. I also edited them in alphabetical order for simplicity.

War Events

Kill Events

Glide Events

Movement Events

This is my first time that I did this sort of thing, where I go over all the challenges in a game. Some feedback would be great. Overall very pleased with the outcome.

Thank You.

Upon landing on the tops of buildings you may get pushed off and have your controls inverted ruining dozens if not hundreds of attempts.

You have to exploit to get the game to spawn enough enemies for most of the kill challenges (They want you to kill 250 enemies in an area where there's 80 max.

Currently Corners/ Eaves Jumping/ Sky Scraping/ Center of Power/ and Point to Point are pixel perfect in order to finish. You have to master Dashing/ Super Jumping in order to have a chance, to complete these.

Knuckle Dragger requires the player to kill 55 enemies in 60 with an attack that takes 5 seconds to do. Most enemies take two hits to die meaning that the challenge itself requires up to 6 pods to spawn perfectly for the challenge to even have a chance of working. Which will never happen, so you have to find 3-5 tanks drive them over to street under the start point, hit them until they are on fire then start the challenge then destroy them within the challenge. This made this challenge possible. Demolition is the same deal instead get 9 tanks.

I completed all of the Medals and the Achievement didn't even pop for me. Power Cycling did nothing. I uploaded a video clip to my one drive, for some reason upon this file uploading the achievement popped I DK why.

GLITCH WARNING: It is possible due to a glitch to miss out on the Pt trophy, but thankfully it's easy to avoid. The glitch occurs if you obtain Platinum Medal scores in all of the events before you unlock the Au trophy. To avoid this and make sure you can get Pt, simply make sure that you have at least one event that you have not obtained a platinum level score on before you unlock Au. As long as you have at least one event that stays at Gold when the game gives you the option to go for platinum scores, you will not have any problems. Thanks to blymberry for discovering this and bringing it to my attention.

Before the game will show you Platinum Medal times and scores for events, you will have to achieve Gold Medals in all of them first. However, any scores you have that already qualify for a Platinum Medal will be upgraded once the scores are revealed. You will unlock events as you play through the story, and once you have finished it they will all be available to play. ThisIsWar was kind enough to assemble a collection of videos that show how to complete these events to the Platinum Medal standard better than I could ever explain in words, so please see the following posts if you are having trouble with an event.

There are also some good tips pertaining to some of the events in this thread which I also recommend that you look over if you are having trouble: pt trophy advice given here, ask any questions you need - PS3Trophies.org

ChronoAlien provided me with these tips on using Alex's Airdash ability, which proved to be very important information I needed to complete some of the tougher movement events:
"Doubledash is really what is says, but it's all about the angle when you use them. Alex will dash the same way he is traveling, so naturally, if you wanna move fast across roofs, you want to make sure he's going straight before you dash. If he isn't, you will dash either upwards or downwards, wasting valuable time. If I wanna travel fast, I dash fast, and I NEVER use the Glide ability on 'movement events.'
Climbing Doubledash is just a little advancement really. 'Point to Point' event is a great place to master it, as the second mark, and last mark requires you to use them, almost at least.
As soon as Alex leaves the ground using jump, as he is traveling upwards, doubledash to make him continue traveling, hence, making him climb with a doubledash. This saves you a full second, even 2, instead of having to dash into a wall and then running up."

You can track your progress under the Events page on the pause menu (there is a separate tab for each kind of event).

Before you even think about going for Platinum in ANY event, you must first get gold in all 53 and achieve the "Au" achievement. Once you have done so, a notification will appear saying you can now go for Platinum on all events; any event that has already earned a Pt score will be automatically upgraded. Go through all the events again, getting Platinum requirements.

To make some of the events easier (such as Raid and War), finish a playthrough and start a New Game + on Easy to finish them off.

For a list of Platinum requirement times for all events, please use this guide.

Warning: DO NOT get Pt scores on everything before unlocking the Au achievement. For some reason, it appears they do not stack and will glitch, only giving you Au and not Pt, despite all your events being at Pt status. The only way to fix this is to start a new game and do them all over. So, be sure to leave at least one event at a simple Au ranking to unlock the Au achievement and the ability to score platinum, then finish it off with a Pt score if you need. You can do up to 52 at Pt ranking before unlocking the Au achievement.
