How to unlock the Wrecking Yard achievement in PROTOTYPE - Definitive Guide

This achievement will come naturally over time. Every type of vehicle will count weather that be a Tank, Helicopter, Taxi etc.

However, if you want to get this quickly a good event to do is called ROLLING THUNDER. In this event you take control of the Thermobaric Tank which is the best tank in terms of and Splash Damage. Just keep on driving around shooting the floor and you'll get this in no time doing this event.

I personally got in this one save file before starting my Hard playthrough.

All vehicles count toward this. Civilian cars, APCs, tanks, and helicopters are all fair game. You will destroy plenty of vehicles throughout the story, but it will not be enough to unlock this trophy. The easiest way to rack up credit for this is to steal a tank or APC from the military, and just run over civilian vehicles. As long as you don't fire at any military vehicles or otherwise kill a lot of military personnel while they are watching, you will be free to crush vehicles without consequence.

You can track your progress under the Statistics -> Vehicles page on the pause menu.

Cumulative trophy. You'll get it until the end of the game without any problems. If you are very careful you will get it during your next playthrough on Hard or Easy+ level
