How to unlock the Figheaded achievement in Psychonauts 2 - Definitive Guide
Edit: A patch was made to the game; once you beat the main story you receive a camera which shows where collectibles are within a fairly large radius around you, making this achievement far easier. This should subvert the need for watching any of the videos but I'll leave them up just in case.
Thanks for the heads up @FruitofPassion.
Here is an excellent video series* detailing each of the Places and Brains. There are time stamps for each item in the Show More notes.
The related playlist on Quick Guides YT channel is called "Psychonauts 2 100% Collectibles".

Here's a google doc that uses images in case you'd rather have those instead of videos or use them as a supplement. Thanks to layzMich3l for pointing it out and to Jyak from the P2 Discord for creating it:

Some of these are quite tricky to find.
Some tips when looking:
-Go into that Brain's page in your menu and press to look through your figments to see if there are any duplicate ones you've missed. That way when combing the videos you can just watch carefully to see when they pick up the ones you need. If it's a duplicate it may also help you narrow down the area it's in. For instance, if it's a banana in Bob's Bottles, look in palm trees on the islands (that banana drove me crazy, ha).
-If you haven't found any figments of a specific look (e.g. bottle, fern, banana, mouse, etc) then they won't show up at all in your menu so don't go looking for any 0/1 or 0/2.
-I also set the speed of the videos to 2x which was really helpful for speeding up the search process.

Something I wanna add is that this site has images of the full lists of figments for each level:

This helped me figure out what figments I missed that weren't duplicates. After comparing what the list looks like once it's completed with what I already had I just had to watch the video once, paying close attention to what is being picked up. Made completing Bob's Bottles a lot easier for me

This is the one achievement that makes completing the game a little bit annoying. In the larger levels that have more than 200 figments it's easy to end up spending a ton of time figuring out what you missed.
Those videos are well made and I can recommend following them. However, a guide with images of each figment and where to find them would be a lot more efficient. Obviously creating a guide like that would also be a lot more work.

After completing the story, you can buy a filter for the camera from Otto, which tells you the location of all objects

You can track missing collectibles in the menu by clicking . If, for example, there is a missing bird, then it must be flying somewhere above; if there is grass, then naturally you need to look in the grass. I’ll supplement the hint with those that I myself have been looking for for a long time, maybe someone will find it useful

After completing the main story, the last filter for photo mode is unlocked for purchase, which highlights all the missing collectables.
