NOTE: You must obtain all abilities through progressing through the campaign before you can purchase all the pins.

THIS METHOD IS AVAILIBLE ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED ENOUGH OF THE STORY/REAL WORLD AREAS TO BE LEVEL 40 (although being level 50 is highly preferable for the store discount pin)

As with the rest of the shop related achievements the best way to farm Psitanium to purchase everything in the Otto-matic and filling up the astral wallet is by having this set up:

- Mental Connection unlocked (Story related - possibly upgraded to at least level 3)
- In possession of the Thought Tuner (unlocked by visiting Otto in his lab in the quarry after getting the quest to unshatter Fords mind - linked to the ford in the mailroom)
- Use the Thought Tuner in the main lobby to reveal the two sets of stray thoughts you can link to (forming a nice chain of thoughts to move between)
- At minimum be level 40 and buy and use the Mental Tax pin which gives the chance to get 10 Psitanium each time you move into thought link bubble.
- Rapidly use Mental Connection moving between each bubble with the Mental Tax pin equipped
- To increase the efficiency of the farm at level 50 use the VIP Discount pin found under "Assorted" in the Otto-matic to greatly decrease the price of all items in the store.
- Additionally, at level 52 the Psimultanium pin can be used to drop Psitanium at double the rate.
Using this method, getting a full wallet of Psitanium and buying everything in the Otto-matic should only take around 15 - 20 minutes.

Little tip if you want to save money. As long as you don't leave the shop the game does not save your purchases. So buy up everything that you want and when you're done, press and quit the game. When you reload you'll be at your last checkpoint with none of the stuff you purchased but a full wallet.

The tracker will increase with each purchase, so keep a track of which pins you've already "purchased" and repeat the above for any new ones that come along later in the game.
