How to unlock the Don't Pan Me Bro! achievement in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Definitive Guide

Simple achievement to get but hard to perform. Pan is a one of the melee weapons and the only bulletproof shield in the game.

Early game (can be done in solo/duo/squad)
Simply (and bit of luck) just land in a spot that is preferably in large house settlement, military base etc. Then pray RNG gods for these reasons; firstly if there is a another player(s) be quick enough to find a pan and whackka that enemy player till he/she dies BEFORE he/she will get any of weapons or just fist fights you to death. Secondly pray that you will have a pan in that location where you land because these things spawn in random.

Late game (can be done in duo or squad)
When you down an enemy, just simply go near him and kill him with you're pan if you have any of those with you.

EDIT NOTES:
1. If you’re teammate downs an enemy but you will deal the finishing blow, you will NOT get the achievement because the game registers kills for the player who has firstly downed that particular enemy.

2. The pan kill will register and the achievement will unlock if you will down an enemy first with an different gun than using pan. For example: if you down and enemy first using M16A4 and then deal the finishing blow using pan, you will then get the achievement. This is how I got it.

My teammate downed an enemy and then I panned him but he got the achievement and I didn't.. strange.

@ lR lE X You will have to down the enemy by yourself. Otherwise it will count for that players kill who has downed that particular enemy eventhough if you would have dealt the finishing blow.

Just stopping in on this game to score 1 cheev for quest points. I'm a noob and I couldn't find a gun anywhere, so I grabbed a skillet that happened to be in the second building that I ducked into and I got this. Not interested in royale games in the slightest, but this was amusing. I was just going for the the cheev for your first kill. laugh

As of 04/29/20, this achievement has been made super easy, even end game, because of the bots added with season 7. You can literally run straight at a bot, maybe with a little zig and a zag, then pan them to death. Turn crossplay off and you'll most likely get pure bot lobbies.

I get approx 83 percent bots with cross play off at the moment. The bots can sometimes be tough though as they seem to randomly spawn near your location

i definitely panned a couple players in the AI training ground but no cheevo. i won the match and got an achievement for that though.

I did this in a normal vikendi match and I didn't get it for some reason.... Downed with a gun and killed with pan

I think you could add to the guide that to get your pan back out (if you have a gun out) you need to press UP on the D-Pad twice.

I had the perfect opportunity to nab this at one point but could not figure out how to get the pan out laugh. Had to finish them off with a gun as I heard their partner arriving in a vehicle.

(Got it today though)

The frying pan is a melee weapon that can be found on all maps. Headshots inflict about 70% damage to an enemy's health bar. It's a good idea to keep a frying pan on you as it doubles as 'butt armour' and if you see an unaware enemy, you can try to kill them with it.

A simple method is to join Solo with a boosting partner, land together and search for a frying pan. Upon finding one, kill your boosting partner with it.

Possibly the easiest way is when landing with AFK players, check nearby buildings and houses for a frying pan and then return to the AFK players and kill one of them with it.

When you find a pan, equip it.

Find and down an enemy, switch to the pan and kill him.

Easy as that.
