How to unlock the Amateur 8-Ball Champ achievement in Pure Pool - Definitive Guide

Each Career is split into 5 tournaments, with progressively harder opponents. As you play through the tournaments you will earn stars, and you need a certain amount to unlock the later tournaments.

For this achievement you do not NEED to complete any of the events on the side of the tournaments, only the matches down the middle. However you may find it easier to unlock extra stars by playing these side events so I would still recommend playing them.

You must complete ALL the matches down the middle to get this achievement. So make sure you have beaten the final of all the tournaments, don't just move onto the next tournament as soon as you have enough stars to unlock it.

In the 5th tournament you will come up against some Master opponents which are pretty tough. Here are a few extra tips which should help beat them:

- As always, try to plan ahead with your shots, making sure to leave the cueball in a position to make the next shot as easy as possible.
- The master opponents very rarely miss a pot, so it is important to make life as tricky as you can for them. If you have a ball hanging over a pocket, leave it there as long as possible as this will restrict the options for the AI.
- Choice of balls off the break is also important. If you can see that there are several stripes bunched together on the side cushion, then make sure you take the spots even if the first pot is trickier.
-The AI is also unable to see plants, so make sure to leave their balls together so that they can't clear up if they get the chance.
- Also, keep restarting the first game until you get a win, no need to make life harder for yourself.

These are most of the tips I used to help me beat the career. Please let me know if you have any comments or any other tips you think might be useful too.

You need to completely complete the career mode for Eight fans. You don’t need to get all the stars, but you need to complete absolutely all modes in your career without skipping and go through all 5 tournaments
