Here is what I did:
Start up a local 2 player game of 8-ball and ultimately you prefer to not pot any balls on the break. Basically what you wanna do is pot all your balls (whichever balls seem easiest to you). When it's player's 2 turn, just tap the cue ball and not hit anything and you'll be able to place the cue ball for player 1 anywhere on th e table. Sink all your corresponding balls and the 8 ball and the achievement is yours. Very easy.

To "8 Ball" your opponent you must win the game without your opponent potting any of their balls, they must have all 7 of their balls on the table so if you pot one of theirs off the break, restart. This can be done with a second human player, which will dramatically decrease the difficulty in this trophy.
