How to unlock the Hang Time achievement in Pure - Definitive Guide

The easiest way I found to get this one is to race at Kosa Phi Island for ten laps (you might be able to get away with less, but set it for ten just to be safe). This track has two huge jumps that give you about fourteen total seconds of air each time you use them, plus there are several other jumps that last a few seconds.

Somehow, I got this achievement by playing StoryLine and not being aware of the achievement, I don't think it's necessary to set up such a race, but it's probably easier and you should give it a go if you have already completed everything else!

I got this in a World Tour race with an A-class bike on the Ghost Creek track. There are several really big jumps - and lots of smaller ones - on this course which make getting this achievement fairly easy; just remember to pre-load your jumps before lift-off.

PS - like the commenter above me, I didn't even know this was an achievement until it popped up at the end of the race.

2 achievements in one. Seeing as you will be doing 10 laps to be safe.

Go to single race (obviously set it to rookie) and 10 laps,
Choose any track (Tonga Crater) and on your 1st lap just crash 11 times (this will go towards the No Pain No Gain) that requires over 10 crashes and to win.
Thus you will be in last and trying to catch up and no doubt that on your 4th lap you will be cussing me and swearing a thumbs down. Trust me you will catch up easy.

Once I caught up and was leading for the last few laps and was obviously miles in-front I did a few more crashes just to be safe.

I did this with a (C) car so you don't need an (A) and I didn't change any of the settings to race style or anything.

Just create single race/freestyle event with enough laps, I had ten just to make sure. Then just jump around and have fun and achievement is yours.

I got this achievement without trying on Ghost Creek, in a 3 lap race, just keep jumping and boosting. It's also a great track to get the zero to hero achievement. Get that at the start and you should have more than enough boost to keep going and keep jumping throughout.

I used the map Glamis, there are about almost over 30 ramps in that level, each ramp can spend almost 2-3 seconds in the air but on the huge jump its about 5 seconds so I would recommend setting your laps to 10 laps and surely if you get enough air you will get the achievement and remember you must preload before you go on a ramp which will help you a lot. P.S: I do have this achievement

Here is an easy way of obtaining this trophy. Select race event and choose Sandy Mountain as the track. Set it to ten laps. Sandy Mountain has the most amount of jumps and the biggest jumps; by the time you reach your 10th lap you should have this trophy.

For this achievement you must accumulate a total of 150 seconds of air time in one event and win that event. This can probably be pulled off in a World Tour Race event but if you want to make it easier on yourself just set up a Single Race event of five or more laps, that way you have more time to get more air and more time to catch up to the front runners if you fall behind.

The trophy is easy to get at the race in Mexico....there are a lot of high jumps there!
