How to unlock the Triple Flip achievement in Pure - Definitive Guide
My advice would be to have an ATV with a Tricks Rating of at least 85, and a B or more powerful engine.
Where? The Second Vertigo jump at Sandy Mountain would be your best bet. Remember, you have to tap the left analog stick either up twice or down twice to start rotating either forwards or backwards.
Other things to remember, always preload properly and make sure you're boosting before the jump, always helps. I did this with a Quad with a Rating of 87, and a B Class Engine, so this can be done by the time you have Unlocked Stages 6/7 in World Tour mode. Good luck.

Great solution. I agree, Sandy Mountain is the best location. Good job mentioning (correctly) how to flip.

This achievement is straightforward enough, you need to perform a triple flip.
Now the easiest place I've come across in the game to do this is on the track "Sandy Mountain", the reason being it has the biggest jump in it on the game. Now this isn't the only place you can get this achievement, it's just in my opinion the easiest place to do it.
The better spec your quad the easier this will be, but using this mammoth jump you wont need the best quad in the game.
From the start of the race use the initial jumps to build up some boost, there's enough opportunity before the big jump to build up lots of boost so don't try anything too adventurous unless you're comfortable with the game and it's mechanics.
As you approach the big jump use your boost, be sure to take advantage of the jump boost for extra air, once you're in the air double tap back or forward on the "LS" until you've completed 3 full rotations, once you've made the rotations line yourself up so you make a successful landing, once you land the achievement will unlock.
I realise this may seem a little vague but due to the level layouts I can't walk you through it every step of the way with in depth detail, however an example of this can be seen in the video below.

Best solution for this achievement.

Don't just hold up or down on the left stick. Double tap it up, and hold it up, or double tap it down and hold it down.

i did this achievement by making my atv as high on trick as i could then went on kosa phi island and u can pull a triple backflip on the 3 jump MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE LEFT JUMP > and to make this easier angle your jump to the right so there is alot more air between you and the landing make sure you build up some boost to its handy

My video guide is above to help those struggling with this achievement.
Ensure your ATV has a trick rating of 85 or higher before attempting this achievement.
Simply load up a freestyle event on the main menu (go to Single Event).
Choose Sandy Mountain as the track.
When you hit a high jump, such as the one indicated on the video, flick the left analog stick up twice or down twice to perform a triple front flip or a triple back flip (make sure you hold the stick forwards or backwards at this point).
Make sure you boost (preload) before the jump as well.
The achievement will pop even if you crash, which happened to me!
Good luck!
I suggest doing this on the big jump in Sandy Mountain. To perform a triple flip, as soon as you leave the ramp, pull back on the left analog stick twice and hold until three rotations have completed. Land the jump and the trophy is yours.

Your best bet for pulling this off is on the second large jump on the Sandy Mountain track. Hit it with a bunch of boost and 100% pre load then snap down on your two times and hold until you complete three full rotations and bag yourself twenty more points.
Also, it will be very helpful if you have an A Class bike with a high Trick rating. Level 2 shocks will make this much easier so use 'em if ya got 'em.
