It's the first thing you do after the tutorial. So as soon as you finish entering in your player name and selecting your class, you'll unlock this achievement.

Saw this in the forums but thought I'd post it here as I also started on mobile and didn't get the achievement when I started on Xbox.
...it did not unlock the Create a Hero achievement (first one of the game and impossible to skip). This was because I did those requirements on Android when working out how to make a cross-platform account. To fix this, go to the Tavern (bottom of the main menu game screen), press the Achievements box, then find the achievement for anything you have now missed. Highlight it with the reticle and press A on the name and/or reward. This forces it to acknowledge you did it.

The, Pants, Party
After a short tutorial, you will be asked to pick a class to play as. Choose any of them and start the story mode to unlock this achievement.
