This boss is found in Battles -› Archives -› Season 1.5. It takes 750 gems to purchase this season permanently. There are three chapters, each with 10 parts to fight through. As expected, Scourge of Light is the final boss of this season. Simply defeat the dungeon to unlock this.

This achievement also unlocks retrospectively if you've already defeated this boss previously.

@oneEy: Go to the Tavern on console and click on the achievement. Just press the A button on your controller while hovering over the unlocked achievement. It should force it to check and unlock for you.

Yes once you buy them, they will always be available, no need to "re-buy" them

ok I have completed this season 1.5 twice extra now and the achievement will not unlock. Anyone else having this problem ??

Any idea if the season will be available after the new one starts? I don't remember seeing old seasons once a new one begins.

The older seasons as mentioned are available in the archives but you need to spend resources (gems or crowns) for them. Usually the immediate season will be available for free but with this patch, they opened up Season 1.1 for free access instead, and 2.5 now costs 300 crowns. Not entirely sure if this would be the norm moving forward

So If I buy the required seasons for these achievements, will they always be available? Even when the new season starts? Sorry for these questions, I never really paid much attention to the seasons before now. Stinks about the crown price tag though.

The Scourge of Light is the final boss of Season 1.5, which can be purchased from the shop for 750 Gems, or played for free if you wait for it to be available during the weekly rotation (but since there are 10+ seasons, this could take a while). You will need to complete all three chapters of the season to face off and defeat this boss, which should pose no issue if you are Player Level 50 and have high-level gear.
