How to unlock the Going on an Adventure achievement in Puzzle Quest 3 - Definitive Guide

Unfortunately, this isn't retrospective. You'd need to complete 10 adventures from now. The good news is they added new goals that award gems for completing X number of adventures.

Adventures can be accessed from the "Battles" tab at the bottom of the screen. Each adventure lasts a certain number of days (3-5 mostly). Your aim is to fight your way to the "end" point of the adventure, which will count as 1 completed. Along the way, you may encounter merchants (some may sell glyphs or relics), allies (they give buffs) and what not. You'll get a certain amount of free energy tokens daily to choose the path you desire in the adventure. Once your tokens expire, you need to wait for the next day for them to replenish. There's always enough tokens to finish an adventure but you may need to plan your path. You can also spend gems to buy more tokens but seriously, don't waste gems like this...

Expecting this to pop once I hit 10 completions.

Update with tips from @FruitofPassion:
From time to time, we get adventures that can be done unlimited. You'd need to buy energy (5 for 50 gems) to replay them though. Each time you complete these, it counts towards the achievement, and you can get all done in a single week. Any damage to your HP is permanent through the adventure but it should easy to do on low difficulties if you just want to do this quickly.

“Retro Active” not “retrospective”.

Hooray! It only took 5 weeks but can now confirm repeatable adventures work towards this.

@FruitofPassion what do you mean by repeatable adventures? I'd like to add to the solution. Thanks!

That's great. I'll add to the solution

Also depending on difficulty, you get gems back at the end. Plus the nice follower gem.

It's also a very good Adventure. You get x1 random Follower Crystal per run for only 50gems (less the prize gems based on the difficulty). Definitely worth doing even if not for the achievement.

It might be best to get this out of the way in case they change it so it only counts once. I stopped playing this game once I got the full 1000 and since I've come back for the new achievements the game seems to be giving out much more gems than before

There is another quick repeatable adventure currently running called Borderlands Bash if you take the shortest route which only consists of four skirmish battles and one dungeon. One 50 gem purchase of energy will enable you to complete it twice as your energy carries over. It runs for the next four days so it will cost you 1250 gems total to get the 50 adventures achievement finished if you’re starting from zero. Slightly less if your spread it out over the duration of the event and use the free daily energy.

you can make the same adventure as many times as you want temp quelle and disponibility
I just tested on my other profile made the same adventure 2 times and I took 20% on the tracker.

Yeah. This week's can be done unlimited times and every time counts towards the achievement. These kinds come every now and then. The cons though are you'll need to buy energy ( 5 for 50 gems) to keep going if you wanna get all 10 in a single week. And any damage to your HP is permanent through the adventure but not a problem on low difficulties

Adventures are available once per week, and consist of a few daily battles while you choose which path to take along a large map. You can view the entire map ahead of time, so plan your moves accordingly if you want to complete them as quickly as possible. You will not be able to complete the entire adventure in one sitting, as you only have so much "energy" per day, and this will refresh the following day to continue the journey or you can use gems to purchase more if you want to do the entire adventure in a single day. But as I said, only one adventure is available per week, so save your gems and just do it over multiple days. You can complete an adventure in the fewest possible moves in two days, or do it over 3-4 days if you want to explore every part of the map.
