From the "Battle" tab on the home screen, go to "Party" and you can either make one or join one. If you make one, wait for random people to show up in public, or invite friends in private.

The party leader must choose the battle and it will display level and and item level so you wanna find something that's around yours. The more people in the party (up to 4) the higher the item level will be, but it seems to be that dying gives you free resurrections on a CD so long as there is another party member alive.
Once everyone readies up, it's basically just a normal game but you can see your party members progress at the top. I think the hardest part about this is just finding a dang match xD Hopefully that changes in the future.
Note: Even though you can create a private party and play this by yourself, that doesn't work. Must interact with another person >.<

I joined a party with someone much stronger than me and I died repeatedly. Kept reviving until they eventually killed everything in the skirmish haha

Does this glitch for anyone else? Halfway through every party battle there is a service error and i have to restart the game :(

You will gain the ability to fight battles in a party starting at Hero Level 3. Go to the "Battles" tab at the bottom of the screen and choose the "Party" option.
