I'm near the end of the game and didn't unlock this. Is it possible to fail this achievement.

I ended up just quickly replaying the beginning of the game after beating the game and this time the achievement popped.
Weird. They certainly don't make achievements like they used to (meaning, they are just buggy as heck these days).
