How to unlock the Combat Veteran achievement in QUAKE 4 - Definitive Guide

This one is a bastard, specifically:

Combat Veteran
Played over 1000 Ranked Multiplayer Matches (Secret)

You'll get this one before the infamous "5000 games" achievement, but to get it fastest, play tourney quickies. Each game only requires 2 frags to win.

Alternatly, party up with someone, (using the ingame party system) and they can start a game and frag you while you go eat, take a shower, get a slurpee, etc...and you'll get credit for each game played, win or lose.

cant lobby up more than 7 matches at a time before it errors yor ass. But yeah u can do it in bits like tht.

And don't be a dick like the latest loser to obtain this on 10 Oct. 2017 and Jack up the score on the number one spot by playing ctf matches for the 5k! DICK MOVE jackass! Play 1v1 like the rest of did and give those others going for nu

mber one a break, they already have to deal with the Jason ass-wipe who blocked the top spot for over 100k points.

Deathmatch Quickies or Tourney Quickies is the fastest way to achieve this. It's very time consuming, but just play and play until you get it.
