An assist is awarded when you kill the other team player that has your flag and return it. Shortly after your team must score the other teams flag.
The easiest way to get all of these is to have someone on the other team run over and grab your flag. Once they have it they will stand still, meanwhile you run over to the other base and steal the other teams flag. When you get back to your base kill him, return your flag and then score. You should then receive one flag capture and one assist.
If you are playing on endurance you should be able to get 10 flag captures and 10 assists each round. You would have to do this 10 times to get the achievement.
Best way to have this game play out is while you and someone on the other team are doing the flags have the other two people kill each other with gauntlets, this goes to that achievement at the same time.

Search Endurance Arena CTF by yourself, have another party of three search as well (as previously described). Take scout and get the enemy flag. One of the enemies on the party of three needs to go get your flag (your being the one) and wait in your base. Kill the flag carrier, return your flag, and score the flag. You will receive an assist. Repeat until you have 10 captures. You can only get 9 assists a game, so this will take about 12 games. If you don't have any friends willing to help you out, try and search Deathmatch Average/Endurance and recruit people to help you with this. This is a very easy achievement to get, you just need people to play with (As with all of the CTF achievements)
