This achievement is actually not too difficult, especially on easier difficulty settings (I did it on my Corporal runthrough).
The chapter that you want to load or reach is "Hangar Perimeter". Shortly after the start of the level, you will meet up with Cpl Mahler, Tech Li and Medic Hayes from Viper Squad. These are the 3 characters who you MUST keep alive over the next 20 minutes or so. Take your time, picking up any ammo that you stumble upon, and make sure to save after each section of enemies. That way if one of them should die, or you feel that you could have come off better in a fight, you can load without losing too much progress.
I found that using LT to aim and the Machine Gun as more of a Sniper Rifle seemed to give me an advantage with this. It meant that obviously I could kill the Strogg from a further distance, but it also seemed to deal more damage..
Make your way through to the end of this level, and there's one more fight to get through on the next level; "Interior Hangar". Once you've met up with Cpl Rhodes, the achievement unlocks.

Ice2Dragon
The first level where you have a Tech, Marine, and Medic accompany you is the level this is found on. The Marine's name will be Corporal Mahler (Who gives the medal). They must survive in order to receive this, and the level is two levels long. This can be easily done on private, though it can be done on any difficulty, it's just that private is the easiest and they seem to die the least. Just run through the two levels and you will receive the award as long as no one dies. After you meet up with Rhodes, you will receive the award.
