Discovered last night that you can select multiplayer: local/private and set maximum lives to 9 and give yourself infinite ammo in the settings for the game setup and the achievement still pops

I was going to just play through it but I'm really sick of how newer level packs for older games do the "let's just limit their weapons to their most basic but also make them fight the hardest enemies in the game, and a lot of them too!".

Call of the Machine is a brand new expansion for this release of Quake II. It features 28 campaign levels and 1 deathmatch map. For this achievement, you do not need to play the entire campaign (but can if you choose). Since this release has a level skip, you can skip to the last level and still get the achievement.
