This solition only for PC players.
You can use console commands for faster completion

For this achievement do next:
1) Use console (~)
2) type console command - map mine3
3) turn on - noclip
4) turn on - god
5) Find evelator with exit button on left side of map
6) turn off - noclip
7) Press exit button

Note: You can either continue your game from the previous Unit or choose Single Player > Level Select > Quake II and select ‘Unit 4’.

This is story related and cannot be missed and can be done on any difficulty. To unlock this, complete Unit 4: ‘Mines’, which consists of the following levels:
 
  • Mine Entrance
  • Upper Mines
  • Borehole
  • Drilling Area
  • Lower Mines
  • Drilling Area (second visit)
